That pony shadow stick looks beautiful on you. I’m gonna have to grab that. Hard Candy has really stepped up their game. I have been waiting forever for them to come out with their Fox in a Box bronzer, blush and highlighter because they are no different than Hourglass Ambient powders (but with a Benefit style packaging.) That Hard Candy liquid bronzer looks amazing on you. I didn’t think that was going to look as natural as it did when you searched it- looked way too gold, but it is your perfect bronzer shade. Same with the blush. The highlight Lee is exactly what I am always looking for, without being a balm. Wow!

Something I have changed is not wearing extremely high coverage foundations. I'm 33 and noticed that my skin is getting more textured and more oily, and full coverage just isn't that flattering anymore. I actually really want to start getting into cream blush and bronzer, but I'm so intimated. I have extremely oily skin and feel like it'll melt off 😅 I'm liking the more natural, soft looks these days. Btw your makeup turned out so pretty 😍

I'm 42 and over the last few years, I've stopped wearing as much eyeshadow and also use the Tula tinted primer as a base instead of foundation. I also layer creams and powders for cheek products and it stays so much better through my 12 hour shifts.

Omg I can never remember if something I saw was hard candy with urban decay.. Also- I have an eyeshadow palette from la colors called berry kiss, it's EVERYTHING. AND I can't believe you pulled out that mascara bc I was literally using it last night and thinking why does everybody hate on this? I know it's not a Wow, but some of the other ones are just too wet and messy. That one's a nice natural look, like you said. Looove you❣️💃

I am so happy you reviewed the new la colors palettes! I could tell looking at them they’d be good! Haven’t seen them in stores in my area yet but hopefully they will be. Maybe you could do a full face of LA colors? Have you tried there neon shock palettes? There amazing!

Great video Ashley ❤❤❤! LA Colors definitely has some amazing hidden gems😍😍😍! Something I used to do, but don't do anymore is apply powder all over, it doesn't look good on me anymore, it was a hard habit to break too🤣🤣🤣, but my makeup looks so much better without powder all over with my now dryer skin. Also those Hardcandy blushes are amazing and so pretty, I love the shade Born Yesterday 😍😍😍, they also build well on themselves.

Ashley great video👏👏 something I have changed that I did for …Years is using a really light concealer …..WHY did I do that to myself? Heck if I know haha. I’m using the Undone Beauty conceal to reveal palette in buttercream medium light and it matches my skin so well. It’s got nice moisture and because I don’t wear foundation I can blend it in to my skin and you can’t see it . The reason I don’t wear foundation is because I have freckles on my face and everywhere else but my neck so it’s hard to find something that works for me . … so I just use this concealer and when I want I can blend it over my face . The top section is supposed to be light coverage the middle is medium coverage and the bottom is full. But whew that light concealer years ago ….I look back at pictures like oh Lord what was I thinkin

Great video! I def want to try the Hard Candy shadow sticks. That cold brew color is my fav color. I have quite a few of the wet n wild shadow sticks I like as well but always up to try new 😊 I loved the LA Colors palette too! And can’t beat the price either! For some reason, the last six months or so I’ve just stopped wearing eyeliner on my lid. Especially my lil everyday baby wing. I’m 26 and for 10 years I’d always had liner. Like, even typing this feels wrong. I’m in denial. It’s a constant internal makeup battle with myself 🤣 16 year old me would throttle me silly if she read this 👀 I can’t tell if I’m just getting lazy or if I actually feel like it opens my hooded eyes more. Regardless, great video as always! Loved that the “small child” in the background agreed that the gloss was sticky LOL

I think the Nyx Thick It Stick It almost has too much pigment, which makes it a messier, more tedious application, and the consistency is more wet and gross. 😂

Big fluffy laminated brows 😂. I’m 40 and a victim of THIN overplucked brows of the 90’s so trying to use makeup to “create” brows with hair that isn’t there is NOT gonna work (though I’ve tried!)

I'm so excited when in one of your videos comes out. You always seem to pick the drugstore items I'm interested in. I totally agree with you about the elf nobody's shadowsticks. I'm not a fan because 1st of all Most of my broke inside so they're loose. Secondly they really can only be used as an eyeliner in my opinion Because you have literally no time to apply and smudge them out successfully. Too bad I have a couple of them and I'm trying to use them up. I really want to try those hard candy ones. Your look turned out gorgeous! I can't believe those LA colors eye shadows.

Powdering the under eyes. I prefer a good concealer that blends in to the skin and doesn’t require much powder to lock in all day and those concealers exist and all mine are actually drugstore ones. You just need a liquid to powder formula, like Flower Get Real, Rimmel Stay Matte and Nyx Can’t Stop. You won’t like it if you use a lot and it’s because you don’t need a lot because the coverage is there with very little. But they stay all day and look like skin rather than being too hydrating, creasing and moving or too dry where you look older

Could that Revlon Translucent blurring powder be a dupe for Kosas? Probably the same price with how Revlon has been pricing their stuff.😂 the cover girl yummy gloss for $11 is ridiculous. I get better glosses at the dollar store and the caps are busted on a lot of them where you have to use pliers to get the cap off

I haven't talked about this on the channel yet, but I recently tried a couple of mascaras from this brand, and they are truly the most waterproof mascaras I have ever put on my eyes. I swam underwater in them and everything, and I had zero flakes, smudges, smearing. Absolutely incredible. amzn.to/3JVEedI (that's a commission-based link, but it's ok if you don't use it... the brand is called "Heroine." It's got a funky, long name.)

I wonder if the yummy gloss is a shade based issue/bad batch. I have the strawberry one and it's not sticky or stringy. So weird. Seems like everyone is having either a very good or very poor experience 🤷🏻‍♀️

As I’ve gotten older I can’t wear eyeshadow anymore. I used to wear eye makeup every day. Now at 37 if I wear eyeshadow my eyelids look like a dry desert!

Cream shadow sticks like the one she used at the beginning work well and look hydrating on the lid and don't dry out like powder shadows. They don't really give the same matte look but they will not dry you out!
