I have no idea how i stumbled on your channel a few years ago but i really enjoy it. Ive been trout fishing my whole life so i enjoy those but your enthusiasm and joy while yabbying make these my favorites.

There's a good head of yabbies in that dam and they'll need a fair bit of food. I'd be tempted to take plastic sack with me when carp fishing and take them back to feed those yabbies. Chunks of carp probably work fine in the yabby nets too. Then at least the carp are being out to good use and the yabbies are turning them into a good feed for you.

When my boss asks why I wasn't at work for a week, I'm blaming you for the yabby addiction relapse. LOL!

We've been putting them to sleep in the fridge, then separate the head from tail then twist underneath the tail and the poo tube comes out. Then just cook the tails.

When we use drop nets in a damn, we tie the rope to a broom handle so you can lift the net straight up rather than dragging it along the bottom. Top video \,,/

Hi Robbie. I really hope that one day you and Rohan @RKJ Fishing can get a good feed of yabbies and cook them in sea water. I know I've suggested this a few times in the past but you guys are so far from the sea it makes it hard. If you ever get a chance to do it make sure you do, they taste just like prawns when cooked that way.By the way, great catch, I wish I could do it here but no yabbies close to me. Plenty of seawater though.
