I really envy you for the moments you got to spend with Sir Sunil Gavaskar. Sachin Tendulkar may be named the God of modern day cricket but for our generation the real God of cricket is none other than the great, rather the greatest Sir6 Sunil Gavaskar. So lucky of you for getting a chance to walk with and talk to him.

I was fortunate to see Gavaskar playing in the last two years of his career. I was a child then (though grown up enough to see and understand Cricket), and Gavaskar was my favorite cricketer. He was the most stylish of them all. His hat, gloves, bat, pads, hand guard, wrist bands, and off course, the legendary skull cap, built an aura around him.
