I will say something positive here. As a kid growing up with the basic non-suspension RC cars from Sears that didn't have proportional steering or proportional throttle, this is better than the typical Walmart toy grade offerings. Now of course I would never spend more than 50 bucks on this but I think a kid around six or seven years old could be happy with it for a little bit at least until something broke and there are no parts to repair it.

I think I may have seen this in the clearance aisle at Walmart 😂 That thing is terrible! It’s a shame that’s allowed to be considered hobby grade. Someone new to the hobby may buy that and get completely turned off of RC’s.

I actually find this surprising. Currently there are so many manufacturers putting out cheaper product with decent quality. I guess there had to be one to come along eventually and just be poop.

lol got the same boiler, which also stop working with the same error code, turns out it was the condensation collector tank was blocked, which is the white pipe that comes out of the boiler, cleaned 1 week ago

Is much better to buy a Tamiya even if the qualify is not super high, but with minor upgrades you can have decent rc for starters. Tamiya is realizing some goods options they're not bad, you can rc with scale and having fun making others jealous

I'd love to get a hold of one of these just to see if it could be made better by just taking it all apart, massaging the diffs to free them up, make sure the suspention arms are free, bearings are free, water break in the motor and use a lipo. I'm stupid like that but I would enjoy doing that. So much could be done I suspect to make it a bit better without spending any money, just time.

Ignition lock out check the condensate pipe make sure it is not frozen up

Hello from Canada. First time to your channel. Your thumbnail made me have to see if it could possibly be as bad as you said. I must admit you didn't disappoint. If there is a listing for "toy grade" in the encyclopedia or wikipedia it would show this RC!!! I wish they weren't allowed to sell such junk. Its not even good for someone new to the hobby. They might base the RC world on this or feel ripped off after buying it.

Has the condensate pipe frozen up on your boiler? Be worth checking it out and something you can do yourself

Well It's like bashing but in slow mo... I quite like the Chinese RC cars like WL Toys and the like..decent performance and if you like tinkering they can be coaxed into performing really well. This thing on the other hand is quite awful..I'm sure someone will have a bunch of electronics and some oil dampers sitting around and will try to get it to do things it wasn't designed for lol

For the price it's horrendous matey. I go as far as to say it's a toy grade trying to be a hobby grade.

Styrofoam packaging for a basher RC in 2023... that alone should be a show-stopper. I'm 5 minutes into the video now, paused it and oh my... I can predict how this ends. The cheap looking plastics, the suspension killing offset of the wheels... I can literally see the tears in the eyes of the kid who smashes the car into the kitchen table leg on Christmas 5 minutes after unboxing it, completely obliterating the car.... ok, on with the video to see if this is as bad as it looks. Edit: finished the video and I'm surprised that nothing broke. The electronics are clearly a joke - such a tiny ESC for that humongous 570 motor? With such a motor this should be WAY faster. For that price you can get stuff from MJX, HBX, WLToys, etc. which is MILES better out of the box.

The idea of a spoiler on a vehicular truck is ridiculous. That could only happen in the make-believe world of RC. Also in the world of RC do they try to make a truck into a sports car.
