Hi Edna.. my honest opinion.. this apartments look okay but not worth the 25.5 mil and above.. You've showcased gorgeous houses on the channel that are worth the money the developers are asking for.. These guys here are are just selling the location "MUTHAIGA" ... if you ask me, buying one of these apartments is a bad investment. But i know there people who will still buy them. 25-30 mil am sure one will get an awesome contemporary mansion. These apartments are just okay nothing "wow" about them except the bathrooms, pool, gym and the exterior design of the apartment. Just my opinion thank you.
Agree, not the best for investment, there are better options ROI wise, but good for living in and they seem to have the best common areas I have seen in Naiorbi.
I personally think this building is worth every shilling and location just makes it even better, sisi w kuteta bei wacha tungonje affordable housing karibu na Machakos.
Why can't service charge be same for all units? I don't get that disparity in prices. Gorgeous place on the outside and the shared spaces, but the apartments are odd! How the bedrooms are situated, the kitchens look like an afterthought even though they have nice fitted appliances to it. The views though are to die for.
Those views from the pool on the top deck are to die for top notch stuff, with those you need stuff to run that place hence the service charge to pay their salaries.
Beautiful and elegant exterior. The interior is not as elegant as outside. At the foyer, they should add an interior marble fountain and add a few roman sculptures. This will continue the Roman theme seen outside. Also the apartments are not as classy as the exterior of the building. The apartment prices are abit steep. But it's a beautiful building.

I agree with you 100%. The exterior and the amenities are absolutely brilliant. The interior design is DIRT CHEAP!!! The doors within the house are just plain brown planks of wood. It doesn't help that there's no hallway to place your art etc. Basic lighting fixtures, basic finishing in the kitchen, basic wardrobes, nothing luxurious about those. Should've worked on separation of the laundry area and pantry as well idk what's going on there. Look at the windows in 28:19, those handles remind me of my dad's govt housing in the early 2000s. Why the hell didn't they put modern slide and lock windows!? I want to retire in an apartment myself and I know what's in the market for this price range. If you show me this interior I'm giving you 12 million or maybe 15 million at gunpoint (location is a plus). The interior reminds me so much of those new ones near the Quickmart in Thindigua.
The amenities are quite commendable but I feel like the housing units are a bit too basic and the space has not been well utilized. Big rooms without much character.
I loved the exterior and the amenities but the inside was just basic, hoped for it to have the same standards as the exterior but anyway overall not so bad.
Probably because it's their money and they can choose what they want to put. Once you build your's with your money you can put Dedan Kimathi and Bildad Kaggia if you want
@@NaturalktedyEdna I am saying that is not a proper Kitchen.Many builders nowadays take short cuts with open plan.A proper Kitchen should have 4 walls-with cupboard all round and a WALK IN PANTRY .In addition there should be a Granite island. I hate lowering myself to Kenyan standards but hey-they dont know any BETTER

Great job Edna. This one of the most unique buildings in Nairobi but I must say that it's not a wise investment compared to the many properties that you have previously showcased. There's nothing very special about the apartment though I really like it and wait.. I couldn't tell the master bedroom from the rest of the rooms😅.. they all look similar. Buying a unit for 25.5 and then paying that crazy amount for service charge? They'll own you for life 😅 I know many will disagree with me on this but that's just my sincere opinion.
The building is okay but I dislike the lack of distinction between ordinary bedrooms and primary bedrooms. All bedrooms look practically the same size, and in the first three bedroom, the bedroom with the best view doesn't have a bath. The one with the bath has such a terrible view, who is interested in looking at that frosted glass every morning after drawing the curtains?
The one issue I have with that apartment is that image if a white lady monument...we are in Kenya Africa, such images are to promote imperialism in Africa. Tell them we can not stay in a place looking like we are in Europe. If they put an image of an Africa woman, then I will ask more details
The amenities and outside appearance are excellent, but nothing screams luxury with these apartments. They are probably just selling the location. In my honest opinion not worth 25M
if your standards are Roysambu na Kahawa stop complaining & keep on working hard. If you can't afford any of those cars I've seen at the parking basement you should not talk about the prices of these apartments. Just like the video & move on

Houses are empty all over because greedy developers think wananchi are going to shell out millions on overpriced buildings. Kenya needs serious land and real estate reforms. There’s no reason why I should be paying Cape Town and London prices in Nairobi.

London prices... Nope, not even close. Given the location and the design and what I've seen from the structure, they are worth that price. If I had the money, would I buy, nope.
Personally I feel like the exterior is more giving than interior. The service charge shouldn't even be there but it shud be included in the total money for owning it
This place is Spectacular! I'm blown away Edna! I love how it is a combination of the Roman Colosseum and the Palace of Versailles. I think everything about it is perfect, including all the costs of living here. Imagine being rich enough to work from home, and live in this magnificent abode? I would never leave the building. Haha, if wishes were horses...splendid review too! Keep it up!
Honestly this property Is A Master Piece .... It's On It's Own Class....The Service Charge Is Ok Because of the Amenities...Muthaiga In Itself Aint Cheap....Muthaiga Here I Come.
