Nina Farion had a cameo in SS 2 EP 8! Her time on screen was brief but she was awkward and hilarious in her own Nina Farion way!
**SPOILERS AHEAD**
Nina is the daughter of the Sword God, Gal Farion. Eris is currently training in "The Holy Land of Swords" under the Sword God. Nina considers Eris somewhat of a "rival," but has lost to her in basically every category that mattered, including womanhood. That's right, Nina has yet to exp
She planned to beat up, kidnap, and use Eris' supposed boyfriend as her love slave, in order to one-up Eris. She thought that despite his amazing achievements, "Quagmire Rudues" was a spineless noodle-armed magician. And defeating him would be no big whoop.
She ended up getting wrecked by Demon King Badigadi while waiting in line to fight Rudy. After witnessing Rudues blowing up the Demon King in one strike, she accepted her weakness and promptly headed home.

Yeah listening to the audiobook I was very surprised that port was cut, or never even mentioned. I do see Nina being here though, takes no time, and I'm 100% betting we are getting an Eris OVA that covers the extra chapter. Also his aunt is introduced in the first Eris OVA, just not introduced, I imagine we'll get a flashback or something when they cross paths again.

But i mean if u basically let a stone cannon from rudy hit you with no resistance you are either dead or you are Orsted. Because Rudy on the damage output scale does more DPS than Orsted.

@@aburriiiiiiiiiiido . The fighting god armour was said to be the fighting god itself. It slowly manifests the brain of the user who wears the armour. Badigadi himself is just a demon king but when you add up the fighting god armour. He is basically just living on borrowed streanght.

I would agree, only her goal was to duel and enslave Rudy, but Nina 'gave up' after losing to Badigadi whom Rudy beat. If Nina actually 'tried' and faced Rudy, they might have talked, Rudy might have realized Eris actually liked him given that Eris wouldn't stop talking about Rudy, and Rudy would have solved his 'little' problem much faster. Beside, after seeing Rudy request for a handicap before his duel with Badigadi, Nina could have challenged Rudy to a sword duel like Luke does later in the series. That would have qualified as a 'try her best'.

To be honest Jino would get absolutely COOKED by Orsted. Eris only did the "Light reversal" out of luck and skill, not even Jino could pull that off on pure skill. Rudeus gave Orsted a run for his mana and he was about to commit self kill after the fight because he had lost so much mana

No way she would let him leave like that since he might not even come back. @@EikeBatista_error You forget that this meeting with Nina is happening before Rudeus established such contact with Nanahoshi. They have no cooperation pact going on, nor did Rudeus impact Nanahoshi in such a way yet that she'd see him like the light you are suggesting. If Rudeus hears about Eris from Nina, he is heading to the Holy Land of Swords ASAP, and the journey would take 3 to 4 months at least. And then he'd spend at least another month or 2 there. Hell, if misunderstanding with Eris is cleared, then his ED problem would also be solved, invalidating any reason to return to Ranoa University. Thus, he'd never even learn about Nanahoshi being there, nor would Nanahoshi gain any strong reason to contact him(since she wouldn't know he has mana), she'd remain in the passive state that she was in, waiting for him to come to her and not caring if he doesn't.

People are coping if they think Rudeus wins against Nina, Rudeus himself had say he would lost against Eris if they start a fight at her prefered distance, Nina is about the same power level as Eris so the result would be more or less the same, The Eye of foresight is not useful against a Sword King, they are THAT fast

He uses the eye of foresight, on an Eris trained by ghislaine/ruijerd (sword king, some kind of emperor?) in the show to trounce her in a duel. Shattering her confidence. It is useful and canonically OP in this exact situation. (duels with swordsmen) He uses the eye of foresight THIS season against Pursena to neutralize her voice attack (speed of sound) before it starts. You're also kind of missing the whole point of the scene with Badigadi. A line of 300 people including Nina want to duel Rudy. Badigadi beats all of them easily, Rudy beats Badigadi. Badigadi acknowledges his win, he raises Rudy's hand in victory Rudy>Badi>All 300 duelers including Nina and then the immortal badi knocks rudy out to send a message Badi>rudy>all 300 duelers including Nina That is canon powerscaling Nina had her chance to fight Rudy, but she is too weak to do anything to Badigadi. She watches Rudy atomize Badigadi. She isn't even in his league. She leaves in awe, with her plans to enslave rudy in the trash, and a whole lot of respect for Eris' beloved @@Luis-wf9ws

The eye is foresight is really OP, in fact is the only thing that enables him to have fights agains't good swordmans, the problem is: Sword Kings are even more OP, doesn't matter that you can see in the future if you can't react to it(This is something that even Rudeus acknowledge), there's no way he can avoid a Sword of Light(An attack at the speed of fucking light) in short-mid distance. Nina is too weak to do something agains't Badi, and to be Fair, everyone is too weak to do something agains't Badi, the only reason why Rudeus could atomize him is bc Badi let him charge his spell, in a "Real Fight" Badi also owns Rudy very hard, he doesn't have a battle aura and even with silent chanting he's to slow. Anyway the point is: In a fight at their prefered distance(

That's because this is what it should be in the first place lol. Nina is nothing in Rudeus's life, like the friend of a friend whose name you never knew, only seen once at a party where you just sit in the corner. I know it sounds weird, but this is what Nina's story is all about. The reason why we know so much about Nina and it feels more important in the web/light novel is because of the limitation of text storytelling. Don't forget that 'Mushoku Tensei' focuses on Rudeus's point of view. Even though Rudeus is a important part of plan to beat the entity that is the same as a god, meanwhile from Nina's perspective, he's just the husband(uh the correct should be wife) of your co-worker's friend. anyways this is not the last time we will see her.
