Did you even watch it? Herbert threw a perfect over the shoulder pass to the sidelines while Allen was in stride and Allen got his hips turned the wrong way and started back pedaling for no reason. He bailed himself out because if he messed that up, it would have been embarrassing for any NFL receiver to do that. It was a pretty nice correction though. It was 100% a perfect pass.

WR 101 is never square your hips to the ball like that. Allen needed to look over his outside shoulder for that ball. It was on the money if he stayed in stride. Herbert hit the open space near the sideline.

@@Nine4TV I disagree, Odell's was more important since it was for a touchdown, was a longer pass, and was fouled by a corner back, and it was the first-time fans were able to watch that display of agility and reaction in a one handed catch, so in many ways it was different, but, in my opinion, this was more impressive and showed even more athletic ability from the wide receiver since he had to secure it while spinning in the air. Both are different but both are top one hand plays from the WR. this one just amazed me.

@@manuelvpr Odell was getting his jersey pulled, released from that and was able to make the one handed catch at full stretch above his head all while staying inbounds. I don’t think there should even be a conversation about it

That was a perfect pass, Allen turned his hips and started running backwards for no reason and he knew it. That was a perfect over the shoulder pass to the sidelines if Allen kept his stride. 100% on Allen for almost messing it up. Super nice correction though ultimately.
