Ateez is known for these kind of songs where they switch everything up at least three or more times. If you don't like that, then they're probably not for you. This song is a Japanese release since they are about to play their Japan tour dates. I recommend you check out Utopia, The Real, Wave, Illusion, Win, Outlaw, or Inception. They do many genres. So maybe check out some of their other stuff before making the final verdict. They experiment a lot with their sound, and they are going to be the first K-pop boy group to play Coachella in April this year. They literally started from the bottom with a small and almost broke agency and now they have come a long long way.
Mingi is the one you mentioned liking, he dropped a solo track called Tunnel recently that you might enjoy as less hectic than their group title tracks can be! Ateez do switch up many times in one song but they released the instrumental version of this on the same EP and it flows so well so think the chaos of the mv (which is very intentional as it tries to cover lots of their storyline that weaves through all the mvs) makes the changes more prominent. Try their song Guerilla (if you haven't already, new to the channel) you might find it just as crazy but hopefully enjoyable regardless!
