Totally agreed. That flat hardtop is perfect for maybe 3000W solar panels. If I were the owner, I might replace the sunpad in the bow with more solars.
@@constantineding8700 Having met the guys behind the boat that would not be a problem at all, this is not a mass production boat and you can customise much more than usual. Glad you liked it though as we did, refreshing to see something so different.
A pleasure, glad you liked it! We loved the Omikron OT60 and meeting the guys who built it gave a great insight into the passion behind it. We filmed 22 videos at Dusseldorf so do make sure you are subscribed so you don't miss what's coming up.
Its a nice boat. Is it possible to have extra tanks so that one really can get some distance from this boat? 1000 miles wont take oneself from tip of Baja Californa to Marquesas, nor over the Atlantic. I assume one could get further pulling the speed down to 6 knots but still. Watermaker? Could one combine the 2 mid ship cabins to a full beam master?
Interesting design and obviously looks fantastic my only concern would be on a night passage, would the light coming from the galley interfere with visibility given how far away the windows are from the helm? Great tour, thanks.
No problem, they will install one if required. We do agree, this would be a must for most people as it is a boat that is capable for long distances and time at sea.
A great addition to the market, shame that the presenter treated it like a training ground for jobbing burglars. really no need to open almost every drawer and door.
I not sure this is a displacement boat. I'd it was also the choice of material would be completely wrong and certainly not cost effective. Looks more like a design exercise to me.
