I absolutely love that car! Funny story about when these first came out. I was a Deputy Sheriff in Maryland at the time and had a friend who actually co-owned a Subaru Dealership. When the WRX STI first showed up at the showroom, he and the other owner took it out for a test drive. They came back in the showroom, went straight to the safe, put the keys to it inside, slammed it shut and said "Nobody test drives that car without my personal approval!" LOL. 300 HP in that little hot hatch, he couldn't believe how fast that thing went! I personally love the gold wheels that were factory against the blue paint. I thought that was the best feature of the car. In fact, I was thinking about having the factory Rays wheels on my 370Z refinished in the gold. Keep the gold rims. That's iconic on that Subaru! Just my thoughts! 😁
