It might not be quite as literal as Thanos in Omni Mans case but it would take just as little effort on Omni mans part. That's what makes Viltrumites so terrifying. Their essentially supermen with more deep rooted anger issues and an unhealthy obsession with eugenics. Kind of like if the entire Kryptonian race including Clark and Clara shared General Zodds views and beliefs.

Many of them hurl insults and disrespect him in an effort to taunt him. But Omni-Man sees all other fighters as unquestionably inferior. Him insulting the fighters would be like an adult hurting a child, it's just mean for no good reason, and would make him more of an asshole than respectable.

That isn't far-fetched given what Omni Man and the Viltrumites can do. They can survive in space rather well. Do you think Omni Man would be phased? He might call it cute. Omni man is quite old. I think he's survived a black hole or two.

Lord Liu Kang and Omni-Man are equally matched as they are now. If Liu Kang hadnt given up his full power to give the timeline free reign over itself, Omni man would have had issues. Its why Omni-man cant get why a god would just let go of that level of power and influence.
