Yep, tracks "in the mix" are 'pitched' so they match each other's tempo (BPM). DJ turntables (such as Technics SL-1200's etc) have a variable pitch (+/- 8% usually on Technics decks) to allow beat/tempo mixing to happen 🤓

hello! Excuse me, can you help me with a question I have? Recently I have been looking for the Drum n Bass songs that appear in the video game Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories, but something I noticed is that several of these songs have lyrics, an example is Living For The Future and Living For The Future (FBD Project Remix) (there are more songs but I think these are the most notable) and in the video game versions were used that do not have lyrics or if they do have them but it is only partial, so I have the doubt if there are versions of those instrumental songs?

@ReallymooreDA That's a good question and I'm also searching for an answer because I want to recreate the MSX 98 mix. I have all the tracks needed but then just like you I noticed that some of them have no vocals in the MSX 98 mix. I think they don't have official releases and it's just Rob doing an edits of them for the game. But now in 2024 with the power of AI you can actually strip the vocals (which I'm probably end up doing).
