When the title says "no talking" everyone loves that

The "No talking" movement should become a religion, especially when it comes to testing synth sounds that speak for themselves. Unfortunately there is a tendency to show one's face and to overwhelm what one does with one's useless charisma trying to collect an identity using people's attention for the thing being tested. I'm sorry to have to say this before congratulating the author of the video for the skill, professionalism and usefulness of what he has created and shared, which should be in the foreground. Omnisphere is so famous because its presets are good and a lot of produces use it, so sad because it's very powerful....to use it as a "rompler" is like to buy an entire hardware store when you only need a screwdriver.

I finally got sick of plugins and bought a real synth that'll be here next week. Also got the MPCX, MPC ONE, a decent mixer and a Audio Technica AT4050 coming within the next month. Essentially I'll be able to make an unlimited amount of sounds. Lol Got tired of using the damn computer and decided to go back to hardware. Those new MPCs are basically a DAW, MIDI controller and audio interface all wrapped up into one. The MPC X even has XLR inputs with phantom power. For the price that thing is a beast. So is the ONE and live. I just like the one better than the live because there's more access buttons. I'm not a really huge fan of touch screens so I chose the X and ONE to minimize how often I need to touch it. Maybe I'll make my own VST with some of the sounds I create!✌️

Omnisphere is a great tool. For beginners it could replace all bunch of other vst instruments. However, when you become more expirienced, its functions not enough. I put up with the fact, that couldnt change lots of the curves parameters, this is a sampler type software and it's OK. But it's sad, that you couldnt change even more things - levels of applied to the preset effects: reverb, delay, saturation, distorion and other (I mean already recorded effects for the presets sample, not FX section inside the Omnisphere). Especially reverb and delay. You're putting some preset on the track and it sounds great. However, than you want to mix it and bring it closer in a sound space, but cant do it - there are no mix knobs for applied effects. That's why I am using Omnisphere only as backside fx or pads. For replacing other instruments in my mix it should have more control over the preset effects.

You have your audio buffers set too low and have crackling. Next time record the performances to MIDI first, then play it back with buffers at a minimum of 128.

Ok 16 gb of ram. But after using 4gb laptops for years without caring about the space simply because i never looked into why space was important for making music. But i have a 16 gb. Only problem is there is something that was meant to be on there or build in and now my gb is 13gb will it still work ?
