OmniTurn CNC: Just machining a pin! 

It's amazing how much shaping goes into things. I used to do wood-work, so I shouldn't be surprised, but it was a very long time ago.

This is almost ASMR!

Whenever I think of Doc making pins, I'm like, "And Roger's just off-camera making the grenades that they'll go into." Also, I know f-all about machining parts. I honestly do. And it shows in the questions my mind comes up with. Because all I can think is, "... why does he start out with a piece of metal that he's just going to trim down so much and then simply round off the end? Is there not already a piece of metal the size he needs that he can just round off?" And you and the rest of the machinist community are thinking, "What a dumba---." I say, you'd be right, because I know zero about machining. Ah well, showing my ignorance, I suppose. But waddyagonnado?
