The band really doesn't get enough recognition

As an Insomnium fan, I came here to listen this band by recommendation... it was a good choice. Amazing band

This song is a masterpiece, so emotional, powerful and deep, reminds me of struggle for life of every living being and their strength to keep going on, as well as our beautiful and abused planet keeps going round the Sun. We are nothing without Nature! This is Metal Force: my essence, the light in my darkest hours, the strenght to carry on.

This whole song is like having an insanely deep spiritual experience.

Heart-melting guitars, INSANE vocals, the melody made my soul literally explode, Dr. Manhattan on drums. Perfection does exist.

Listening to Omnium Gatherum for the first time. My first thought was "this is very beautiful and the vocals are something different from other harsh vocals i have heard so far, I like that very much" and was surprised by the comments about not liking the vocals and so on.

And that is how you make a non-embarrassing metal video. You don't need idiots running around in woods... with axes or something... or fast cutting to make video more intense, or other useless gimmicks. Just show the epicness of the real world. Very pretty.

Beautifully devastating!

Without his epic vocals this wouldn't be an Omnium Gatherum song. Jukka is the very trademark of Omnium's sound. I myself love the vocals, they are so powerful and emotional and really fits the song. But to each his own taste.

Markus needs more solos while in Insomnium, he has the perfect blend of technicality and emotion. I also wish I could understand what Jukka is saying, its probably very meaningful.

Vocals, band etc. Are top notch. These guys are the best thing in this genre of music these days. Keeping that soulful melodic 90's sound with an updated feel. They're open minded, in their musical tastes, and it really shows in the craftsmanship of their songs. The haters obviously didn't grow up during this time, the time of creativity. Metal songs can have melody, sensitivity, and brutality together.

What a beautiful video! I went to see them in Clifton Park, New York. I didn't have money to buy VIP ticket but after their show I just bumped into them. I told them that I crossed a border and traveled hundreds of miles to see them. Jukka huged me and I still haven't washed their tour t shirt I wore at that moment.

This is one of the most perfect songs I have ever heard. It does not try to be something it is not, it is just a great song.

For me, they dont need to get another singer, sure his technique is not the best, but sometimes you just need to be unique, you dont need to be the best at what you are doing, being unique makes you good aswell, and I fucking love the uniqueness of his voice. So deep, so calm... to me it fits with the song, but theres not a truth when it comes to music, you either like it or you dont.

The vocals really aren't out of place...Have you heard the song "New Dynamic"? He can certainly go fast.

I guess it take a little getting used to. When I first discovered Omnium, it started out sounding a little too deep, but OG are, in my opinion, one of the most original death metal acts out there. New world Shadows is one of those albums where every song's a gem and yet sounds nothing like the one before. They really knocked it out of the park there, and it looks like they're building on that excellence.

I can't stop watching this perfect music video. The song is an absolute masterpiece, I've seen this band live twice at this song and it's such a great experience.

I actually think the deep growls of the vocalists and the melodic feel of the music are an amazing mix. And for people saying Melodic Death Metal shouldn't have such low growls: many Melodic Death Metal bands do actually use those low vocals. For example, just look at Kalmah and Amon Amarth, two of the biggest Melodic Death Metal bands out there at the moment. Both have low vocals. But of course as everything in music it's subjective, although I personally love the combination haha :)

You know, RU-vid has been suggesting this video for a while now because of something else I listened to. I have been suspicious earlier but for some reason tonight I decided to give this video a shot just to see what it was about.. I am speechless! Thank you RU-vid! This tune goes right into my personal top-ten list of all times!

First try to focus on whole vibes, not just the voice and you will find a new dimension. As other metalheads did already tell you that is the best interpretation for such a high performance music. I am a woman and I love all of this.

Onion Gathering - The Onioning

So why do these guys stand out as brilliant lights against a bland backdrop of shadows? True, the vocals are an acquired taste, but the thing I love about this band is that they aren't afraid to use the MAJOR SCALE. This is musically rich. The heavy guitar and vocals juxtaposed by the happy sound of the major scale, along with the awesome riffs and synth in the background just give it this awesome, triumphant, epic feel to it. The key changes are awesome as well. These guys are geniuses.

i have listened to more than thousand metal bands from locals to international...and i've found a large variation in vocals from genre to genre...also variations are seen with in the genre..so it is impossible to judge a metal band...if you keep listening to similar style for a long time..other genre and styles will seem like an alien and you won't like it. 1st time i listened to Gorgoroth i was like wtf..but then i got used to it. :) its metal bro,every band creates there own style.

I don't always get goosebumps when I hear a new song, but when I do, it's Omnium Gatherum.

Already a fan of Insomnium. And omnium gatherum gave me a good first taste of what they can achieve.

Would anyone find it odd if I said that this song made me want to cry, because it's shown me more understanding than any person ever has?

I had on idea who these guys are, but I know they're playing with Dark Tranquility in Portland OR soon. Now I'm hooked, and can't wait to see these guys either!

If you "feel" the vocals don't match, then maybe you have been listening to too much of the same stuff? When you come to expect certain sounds? I like the variety and being surprised personally. If I don't like it, I move on. This however, I do like, and I can't wait to see them at Heavy Montreal in a few months.
