I appreciate your creativity, love it... 30 years ago I met an elderly gentlemen at a small bow shop. He had a Styke Long Bow 55 lbs @-28 and quiver full of wood arrows. After wiping the drool from my lip he offered to let me shoot it. I shot a fist size group at 20 yards, "That's your bow!" He said. He told me he's never been able to shoot that bow as well as I had. I've never found another bow I could pickup and hit anything I looked at.
Got mine today. Changed my entire life in 5 minutes😯 Not kidding. I have suffered target panic for easily 10 years and this is the first time I can see a clear path to better and more consistant shooting. P.S. I will tell Dean you said hello next time he drives by on the side by side!
Hi, that is a great idea. Do you know how long that clicker will last? Also, based on your experience, could you elaborate on the pros and cons of 2 fletchings (especially banana shape) vs 3? looks like it would save time and material going the 2 fletchings route. Thank you
The clicker will last pretty much forever. The device should never wear out. 2 fletch is faster. Quieter and nocks correctly without having to think about it. Banana cuts I think are quieter and works best with my style anchor. With woods and primitive arrows I still run 3 fletch though.
Eventually yes but not very soon. Truth is I hate cordovan that’s why I never build them. They get too slimy and mast when the get wet which is all the time down here in Florida.
Hi Mark love your videos. This one has caused a little controversy on the nfas Facebook page in the UK. Can you please clear it up. Is the clicker tab a draw length check or a psycho trigger. Cheers
I would classify it more as a psycho trigger however it does have draw check quality’s. It can’t be activated properly unless you’re pulling back into proper alignment
It works properly at full draw and slowly expanding through the shot but it can’t be classified as a draw check because you can activate it prematurely or while overdrawing if your form is incorrect
