I was like "when does the kazoo come in?" then just fucking died when it did 💀💀💀💀💀💀

Kel never really tell anyone about his hobby of playing kazoo. It had been his coping mechanism for when he was constanly compared to his brother. But he never gonna tell anyone, it’s embarassing and he had stopped doing it when one of his classmate found out about it, but well, after the death of Mari, their little friendship group fall apart. Hero is locking himself, Aubrey goes feral, Sunny hasn’t come out in like a year, Basil is being bullied by Aubrey, and Kel himself wasn’t sure of how he has been dealing with this situation. He has try to focus on school, clubs activities, and pretty much being ‘happy’ to forget the fact that Mari is dead. But old habit always come. So here he is, kazoo in his hand as he tried to remember the notes of the recital piece that Mari and Sunny supposed to play. He felt the nostalgic breeze of summer, bringing back memories which caused tears to streamed down his face. As he close his eyes and let the wind take over his hair, he began to blow into his kazoo.

Sunny's violin: (still broken) Sunny: what am I going to use? Kel: I have an idea

In the more emotional parts it sounds like screaming

Honestly though, I love how the game itself is super sad and at parts messed up, but the entire OMORI fandom is made up of the most wholesome people on the planet :)

fun fact: the song begins with a piano, then the violin is added and they duet, but at the end, the piano eventually fades away, leaving the violin by itself. Gotta love how the story is reflected even in the music

Alternate universe on how OMORI became what its known: Sunny was suppose to be playing the violin, but since he was high on crack with Kel, he used a low quality Kazoo and started using it in their practice. On the night before the performance, Mari was so pissed off by Sunny she gave him a three hour lecture. Sunny, being offended, angry and tired at Mari. Accidently pushed her off the stairs to shut her up

This is a masterpiece. The flow of the kazoo and piano synced perfectly, the emotional high notes, this is a jewel that deserves to be recognized. If my RU-vid recommendation had not given me this, I would not be here typing out this comment. I cannot wait for more beautifully made OMORI kazoo covers; even if this was made a long time ago.

To say how high-pitched it was gonna be is an understatement. It straight up sounds like an opera singer In some parts and actual hell fire in others, that's how high it is. Holy crap it got me good!
