If there was a worse/ Horrible ending where either the whole group ends themself and Sunny’s the last or am this should of been the song during the credits. Credits themself would be a broken piano spinning. then. Every minute. It gets bloodier and more broken.
Alternatively, Kel, the only one who accepted Mari's death is left alive. A cutscene of Kel's future life plays, showing him growing up whilst a broken piano is on the side, being played by a ghostly figure in the dark. At the end of the cutscene, A final message is displayed. " No matter how hard you try, you cant change your past. Its just best to let go. " Cut to main title.
What if (Omori spoilers) After a while. He had told them. His friends cut contact with him. Eventually all moving away to someplace else. And out of the blue. Sunny can hear the noise of dust being blow off of a piano. And the notes slowly begging to play. It’s Mari. A sign of forgiveness from her, for everything. He had long gone out of tune but the song echoed with a sense of moving on. A sense of melancholy. Filling the empty house with a joy it had lacked so deeply for four years. A new begging. Moving on.
this is hard to explain, but this sounds like looking up into a dark navy blue night sky, nearly black but you can still tell it’s blue if you look close enough, as you sit on a sturdy tree branch above a babbling creek on a warm summer night, some stars no different than the fireflies in the distance. i might hate summer time, but i love those types of moments.
I think that maybe this is what we should've heard in the bad ending of OMORI.. It gives a very odd sense of dread, as if you know death is coming, whilst also being peaceful, as an escape. which would've suited the bad ending in a really good way imo
I’ve been getting a lot of out-of-tune piano covers in my recommended recently and this one is by far my favorite. Not only is it a great song choice but this piano fits it so well too Incredible work, my friend!
the way the song just flows makes all the notes clash together in such a bizarre but relaxing way :) some of the notes have vocal qualities that just sound so beautiful
i played this in sync with my piano, and both sounded extremely different😭 mine hasnt really been tuned in a few years but its still way more in tune than yours. also just curious, when is the last time you tuned the piano? like how much time does it take to sound so out of tune ? cause i think it sounds really cool
OMORI SPOILERS _______________________ this is how the piano would have actually sounded after maris death tbh , i think it should have sounded like this in the game , it would have gave more of a sadness to it i suppose , kinda expressing that she is actually gone forever with the way the piano hasn't been tuned for 4 years, the way its untuned just makes it having more emotion to it , i don't really know how to put it in the right words but this version just sounds right
Nah cuz this crazy. I’ve been watching RU-vid shorts of out of tune pianos and every time I hear the out of tune piano, first I think, beautiful, second I think, damn this reminds me of Omori, and now I search up on you tube “out of tune piano is beautiful” and this is the first thing that comes up. Beautiful “cover” of this though.
