【OMORI】Good Morning | Orchestral Arrangement 

The instruments each character holds was inspired by the official OMOCAT artwork that was made for the 3rd anniversary orchestra which took place in Japan on 11/22. You can check the artwork out on the Twitter X account of musicengine. Ps: We’re aware that some of the art details might be off, such as the the bass’ tuning pegs being on the wrong side. Please note that this was the first time the artist drew any instrument nor have they played any instrument. For me too this was one of my first proper orchestration arrangements, and I had never payed attention to details of the instruments and for that I’m sorry (I understand it can be offensive for those who play the instruments.) I hope it doesn’t bug you too much, and we appreciate the advices:)

love how sunny and basil seem to be the main instruments, with kel being present all the way faintly in the background. aubrey and hero also mostly only act together. somehow

AUBREY PLAYING THE BASS IS EVERYTHING. Usually people go on about the cello and violin while leaving the Viola and Bass in the shadows. I'm a bass player and honestly, listening to this put a smile on my face. Though I am still not quite skilled at the craft I can really appreciate music like this. Amazing music and visuals absolutely loved it!

2:35 mari... 😭 The instrumentation is beautiful, and I love how you incorporated the instruments given to each character! The concept of everyone playing a piece is heartwarming, and assuming that this is after the good ending, it implies that they forgave Sunny and Basil 🥺... The music is so beautiful... I'm definitely going to be listening to this a lot.

Basil playing the flute here has made me happy as a flute player

This is absolutely just incredible. There’s also something so poetic about Sunny and Mari being the last ones to finish the song with their violin and piano. It’s such a beautiful way to finish a song that represents a good end to a tragic story.

This sort of band has that bittersweet feel for the cast it’s heartwarming fits the ending
