I loved the parallel with Aubrey pushing Basil in the lake. Because now that I think about it Kel was acting like Aubrey now is with Sunny when she push Basil and now he’s acting like Hero trying that she forgive Sunny like Hero wanted Kel to forgive Aubrey. And like Kel said (in Sayonara not in game) the situation could end like Mari (now I imagine a AU when Hero wasn’t there to save Basil and Sunny, probably already exist, but man...), it was an accident and I believe that Aubrey will think about that. This definitely made me think about every character in the series. I'm genuinely mindblowed by these episodes so far and I'm looking forward to the future of this series. You definitely did a great job at making this and you really deserve a break as well!

Sunny realises that represing the memories is what he already Did for 4 years right. This won't be any different. It Will not make the pain go away. All he can do is forgive himself.
One of the saddest and funniest things in this episode is that Sunny is literally talking and counseling himself on how to live and be productive in a space where that isn't even necessary. Also the entire "I know I said you could stay here as long as you like but I didn't think you'd be here for THIS long" sequence was funny.
So I think I understand what happened... Sunny gets PTSD Sunny stays in Whitespace so he doesn't get panic attacks, but also makes him go catatonic/coma Omori convinces him that his friends don't care/hate him and so to give him a better life, with the shackles of the past removed, removes all of his memories of his friends. Oh boy this is gonna be wild.

This is amazing. Seriously amazing. The history is so in character and fits the timeline perfectly, you really captured the immersion of each scenario, the amount of details here is speechless, you did a great job, easily one of my favorite omori animatics.
This was worth the wait. Seeing Hero act cold towards Sunny really hurts, but you can't blame the guy since the confession is still really recent. I do hope that him agreeing to help Sunny, even if Kel had to beg him, shows that deep down there is still a part of him that cares about Sunny. That conversation between Kel and the Hooligans was really good too. Loved how it shows that Kel can only be the optimistic one for so long before he cracks. I'm surprised she told the Hooligans everything and it's sad to see her talk negatively about Sunny. But I hope we can see how Aubrey deals with all she's learned. Sunny trying to forget everything after the base game really hammers how bad habits die hard. Sure he's still doing what he set out to do the at the end of the game by confessing and trying to live, but I doubt this would be what anyone wants him to do. I just hope that Sunny will understand that everyone just needed time. I think this series has a lot of potential, and I'm really looking forward to where it all goes from here.
I honestly don't see Hero acting like that to Sunny. Sure, he'd probably be quite upset, maybe mad at him, but I don't see him insulting Sunny and being mean to him, to the point of not even caring if he lives or dies
@@leonidasrose2060 exactly! Hero's character is so humble, selfless and quite rational. I find the fandom's interpretation of his character very contradictory to what is present in the game. I don't exactly hate all fan interpretations of what happens post-good ending; but it's when said character is fundamentally mischaracterized/interpreted in a contradictory light. Our main characters have such nuanced writing and I feel like the fandom glosses over that
I think it’s also fair to mention that Hero was the closest to Mari outside of Sunny, considering they were in something of a relationship. And finding out that the younger brother of your SO, someone who loved her just as much as you did, was the one who not only killed her but framed her death as a suicide? Yeah, I can’t blame Hero at all. He needs time.

Honestly, it makes me kinda angry on how long they didn't realize of the suffering of Sunny himself. I mean think about it, for around four years he had nobody except his dreams and hallunctions to torment him every day. He barely ate and did almost nothing else. And now, after trying to help some friends and make amends, he decides to give up and now wants to forget everything that happened because on how he feels about some of his friends. It's really tragic. And I do hope Sunny gains his memories back someday.
Kel understood everything in a way the others didn't. He understands that Sunny couldn't possibly have killed Mari intentionally, and that he and Basil were in a horrific state of guilt for four years. Aubrey cannot accept that, even when Kel explained to her that she could be in a similar position, utilizing her episode with Basil in the lake, where if it weren't for Hero, Basil would be dead, as an example.
Damnit Sunny, Omori, this isn't any better. It's just like before, except instead of just one friend being the trigger and associated with painful memories, it's now 4.
Wowwwww, having Kel bring up Aubrey pushing Basil into the lake... That is a sign of good fanfiction writing: callbacks to events of the canon material that are relevant to the conflicts the characters are dealing with, as if it were part of the canon game. Also, the White space scenes are a masterpiece, and I love OMORI's characterization. As a recent member of the fandom, this series has been great to watch! I look forward to the next installment, no matter how long it may take. Also that OP is FIRE!!!!

I'm imagining him waking up not remembering them, but he still is fond of them anyways because they were his friends. The consciousness doesn't remember but the subconscious does, so he joins in with Kel and his pet rock, compliments Aubrey's pretty bow and hair, and sits down to look at Basil's plants. Completely shamelessly, like remarking on a nice picture, no second thoughts just Sunny without a filter saying everything he likes about his friends as he sees it, with that aura of innocence.
Incidentally, this AU almost ties in as a perfect setup for Reverie Headspace, with different context. His adventures are now with Spaceboy, Sweetheart and Doughie.

I can already imagine what's going to happen: Omori might forget his friends, while they look after him as he's in the hospital. The friends shed tears together, perhaps even hang out more together, and such, before Omori wakes up with amnesia. The friends might weep, lash out and such. Can't wait to see the next episode.

As both an OMORI fan and a Utaite fan, this video was really among the best things I've ever seen. The Moua outro was beautiful and concise to the lyrics! That was a really good point that I miss. The author made Aubrey throw Basil to the lake by accident to tell us that Sunny did the same thing it was an unfortunate accident, but with Aubry she was lucky that Hero was there. I wonder if it was foreshadowed? Or they just wrote in that scene and now it fits the narrative?
I have got an Idea for your entire Fanfic (I am not trying to tell you what to do, it is only an advise. Also sorry if I disturb you, everytime I changed my comment, I deleted the old and rrplaced it with the new one) : I wish there will be a Sequel gor this Game that Omori is actually a Ghost half Demon, and this Ghost half Demon was the one who killed Mari.... After telling the Truth, Hero run out of Basil's room, Aubrey saw his eyes with full of intimidation, and then go away too... Only Kel forgave him so easy and being supportive... A day after that, Sunny decided to live in Basil's house, and not move with his Mom... And so his mom allowed him to... So then 3 days after that, him with Kel and Basil came to visit his old house again looking for the photo album... But then Sunny got the panic attack and then fainted... Sunny is now on the long Coma in the Hospital... Kel and Basil never stop visiting him... It is a diffrent story about Hero and Aubrey... Aubrey didn't even know that Sunny is in the Coma right now... Omori intend to finally take Sunny's Soul by make Sunny himself gives his Soul to this Ghost... Omori is trying to erase Sunny's entire memory about his Friends in the White Space, after he suggest Sunny to do so... He promised Sunny to be Happy forever after his memory being erased, while it is actually true, Omori planed to put Sunny inthe Head Space forever after HE TOOK SUNNY'S SOUL... Then Kel, Hero, Aubrey, and Basil finally discovered that because Mari's Ghost talked to them so... They discovered Omori, while Omori is already took Sunny's memory about them... They finally tried to save Sunny by fight against Omori, so yhey also go on a Coma too... Basil fanally realized what he saw "something behind Sunny" when he accidentally killed Mari, it was actually Omori as a Demon who himself looks luke Sunny... The day after, the Head Nun was consumed by Anger, "who killed Sister Maria??" she yelled, and then Omori's best friend that looked lik Basil whose name is Hector, he was pointing at Omori and said "Him, it was him. Please don't hurt us and just punish him" The Head Nun surprised because Omori is the best Child figure in the orphanage, "is that True Omori??" she asked, Omori then wanted to say no, but when he saw Hector andall his other friends are afraid and Hector's eyes like pleasing him, the Omori said strickly "YES, it is me... I was the one who killed Sister Maria because of my own reason. You can now punish me for what I did, but please don't hurt my friends" Hector started to cry after listening Omori like that... "The torture was evil, but the worst thing happened that day for me is watching them suffer too until being burned alive too... Every single childhood time Sunny spent Omori, Mari could never see him... Finally, Sunny and Mari defeats Omori with their Final Duet Once again, but now Kel, Basil, Aubrey, and Hero see every single memory in that Final Duet, and they are starting to Cry like Babies (like all the Omori Fans who watch the final Duet) but after that, there is a Requiem for Omori and Mari... Omori finally understand ho precious they are to Sunny, just like how precious was Victor and his other friends who he missed so much in the past when he was burnt alive with them by the Satanic Church. So then Omori gave him a Final hug, but it is not directly as Omori since the first place, it was an Illusion like he repeat the scene in the True Ending, but this time instead of Hero and Aubrey hating him, Hero, Aubrey, and Kel hugged him full of Love like a Family... Hero and Aubrey, especially Hero, cried full of Regrets in this scene, also Mari, Kel, and Basil was also full of tears consumed by so many emotions... "You can finally Rest in Peace now, my dear Friend, OMORI" said Sunny, Omori said "I am sorry for everything, they are just soo Lucky to have a Pure Hearted Friend like you Sunny, I wish you Happy my Dear Friend, SAYONARA." After Sunny get out from the Dream Realm, he finally Cry as loud as he can after knowing the Truth about EVERYTHING... Also, one more Truth he has to tell them about he has to leave them again... Right after that, everyone especially Mari and Hero are hugging Sunny with so tight with their Loud Cry... Now Sunny possess Omori's Power too, he can finally turn their place into the Head Space like Teleport... They can finally have fun for One Year, but one Year in Head Space is equal to just 1 night in Real Life since Head Space is now ruled by Sunny... In the last moment, Mari left and said the Final Good Bye to all of them... Mari also warned his brother to not forget he will tell them the Truth about what happened to him now... Finally the ending Plot Twist wished that the ending will be : They finally woke up, and meets Sunny infront of the Church's door... Sunny came to 4 of his Freinds and give Basil the Album and apologize about everything to 4 of them because this is a goodbye... Yet Aubrey and Hero are still mean and pissed of again because Sunny will leave them again... While Basil and Kel are such Happy and Chills... "This is my last wish I asked for you to never forget me, Mari and our friendship, always be freinds to each others all 4 of you. I am sorry for all the things I did. Also for you Basil, sorry I can not fufill my Promise, I have to leave you again now, yet this is probably the last time we meet, but worry not because everyone knows the truth right now. Everything is going to be Okay." said Sunny with tears in his eyes. Suddenly, Hero's and Aubrey's anger and also Kel's and Basil's Happiness turned into very very EXTREMELY DEEP SADNESS after they realized Sunny is already DEAD last night, sacrificing his life to safe them... All that left was just the Album given by him in Basil's Hand that now full of tears. Yet the other 3 are just crying reaching Sunny's Hand from his body, Hero and Aubrey regrets everything, but it cannot bring Sunny back to life... Sunny looks like he is sleeping so peacefull on the roses under the sunlight that directly from the window of the Church... Kel, Hero, and Aubrey is Depressed but it can not be compared to Basil's Depression. And then, Sunny's Ghost walk to them, and so they hugged him, one by one of them said "Please don't go... Don't leave us..." with a loud crying voice Polly then asked them "why are you hugging airs??" but they don't answer... "My time has come for me to be with my sister again, I actually don't want to leave you, but we can not fight our destiny." said Sunny "Thankyou for everything, thankyou for making my life Beautiful, but now you have to continue your life without me... " and finally the final sentence makes everyone cries : "PLEASE LIVE A HAPPY LIFE, I CAN'T HAPPY IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY IN LIFE, AND FOR THE LAST TIME ALLOW ME SAY..." Sunny's very Last word is "SAYONARA" After that moment, Sunny can finally show his form like a shining light to all of the people there, and then his Soul finally disappear...

Omg this is SO GOOD SO FAR!!!! What white space looks like after the game, and how sunny and Omori interact are exactly how I headcanoned it and it's portrayed amazingly here. The concept is very intristing and the fact that you put little details of lore (like how Omori removed sunny from headspace to avoid trama), makes it way more realistic. The art is amazing aswell and the emotions in this is so strong, that I felt like I wanted to cry multiple times. Keep up the good work! I sub 😊
