OMT for Pneumonia - MOPSE Protocol 

This particular video is intended as a demonstration of the MOPSE protocol, which is a sequence of techniques that are useful for treating patients with pneumonia utilizing OMT as an integral part of their treatment plan. The MOPSE study for which this protocol was developed demonstrated significant decreased length of stay, decreased duration of antibiotics, and decreased mortality for pneumonia patients receiving this OMT protocol as part of their hospital care. Of note, this particular demonstration is performed on an standard treatment table in a clinical skills lab setting, and it would be representative of how these techniques could be performed in an outpatient setting or hospital setting where the bed is able to be flattened, lowered, and with easy access to the head and neck
