The 26th of November 2016 was a grim, bloody day in Kasese district. The palace of Charles Wesley Mumbere, the Omusinga wa Rwenzururu, came under attack from the UPDF and the Uganda Police. Amid a hail of bullets, the grass-thatched huts in the King’s compound were set ablaze and the people therein scrambled for their lives. Officials revealed that before the UPDF raid on the palace, there had been a series of attacks on security establishments by people whom the security officers claimed, were royal guards. NTV takes you on a journey that has ended with the Omusinga's return to his kingdom. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition
