My summary: To ‘want’ a constant state of awareness implies there is a ‘motivation’, and in truth this ‘motivation’ actually forms a distraction from pure awareness because the ‘motivation’ is based in (a product of) thought which is “intelligence” (as opposed to a deeper *intelligence*). This “Intelligence” (‘the product of thought’) is destroying our world by dividing us into different “intelligences” e.g. Einstein said ‘abc...’ Newton said ‘xyx...’ People understand “intelligence” as the dictionary definition, that is to say the capacity to take in information, read between the lines and then act.... But because this “intelligence” is destroying our world, we have to penetrate further into this issue, which means abandoning that “intelligence” and saying there must be another ‘quality of intelligence’. ‘That very inquiry (with a mind free from its tether) into “intelligence” IS that *intelligence*’. So penetrate into the depth/vitality/root of “intelligence”, not intellectually but in your heart of hearts. There you will find the *intelligence* of love and compassion. Listening to this video I get an uplifting feeling in my chest / heart. Anyone else? Anybody been able to do what Krishnamurti is preaching here?

@s k you dont practice it...either you do it or you don't.... To practice somthing is for a reason ... to get somewhere or some state... Players practice to perfom better for a match.... To be aware is to simply be aware.

When you think you understand what he means then you've already failed. Once you put a word to it and say "Ive got it" or you say that someone else "missed it" you are falling into the trap of thought. 🙂

What K says is so true. For a long time I was wondering about awareness. What is it like to be truly aware? Somehow the kind of awareness I thought I had just didn’t feel right. Because it involved an effort to practice and sustain it. Then it happened one morning as I went for my walk. The sense of what appeared like “awareness” just came upon me, uninvited. There was a certain depth in it. It was a kind of energy that had the power to get me completely grounded. For once, I felt so alive and attentive of everything around me and inward. I saw the trees, birds , ground I was walking, heard the sounds, felt the air, and simultaneously felt the sensations in my body, read the thoughts running thru my own mind….without getting caught in it, but merely being aware. The thoughts irregardless good or bad had no effect on me….everything was just being seen and heard for what it exactly is. There was no battle between 2 thoughts. All thoughts were welcome, irregardless. It felt like I had suddenly merged with this awareness and was looking at everything from this source. Like a child seeing with wonder. This awareness had a totally different quality. It was intelligent. Silent. Pure. Joyous. Peaceful. Timeless. One felt secure. Like everything was ok. But it slowly faded away an hour later. It felt as if it came just to show me what true awareness is really like. Simply magnificent!😊

Listening to Krisnamurti for me is like eating vegetables, i don’t enjoy it, the kale, the spinach, but i feel its good for me, so although i strain, i make the effort.

Beautifully explained by JK ; ultimately it boils down to the fact that a mind that is free from petty selfish attachments to one that encompasses the entire creation as an extension of one's own self begins to experience that intelligence or super conciousness which is eternal and that is what all beings are - existence knowledge bliss !

The problem is that he's describing the awakened state, not how to get there. As a result, to most of those watching this, it's just a small bit of information that will never be realized.

Then most of those watching need to stop watching and start doing. He talked about how to ''begin'' in practically every meeting. Its like trying to understand how to anchor a roof but without ever touched a single brick in our lives, it could transform easily in just accumulation of knowledge and waiting to judge if it looks good, if it suits me, if i like what i hear, if it would be good for me and if I want to do it. It's like hearing (not even seeing) a gameplay, one will never really know what it is about, the only real way to know is to start playing it for oneself.

In literally every full talk (1 hour versions), he has hinted on the “how” without explicitly sharing/ emphasising a method ( so if doesn’t become mechanical) …. Observation. 💯 Attention. Choiceless Awareness. Awareness of even inattentiveness; watching sensations without reacting etc …. This slowly enables us to connect to the selfless space within us …. Access to that “Intelligence” 🙂🙏

it's just realization of truth. when you understand how something works, a deep understanding, you have a positive sensation of freedom, waking up. what he is saying is that the way to arrive at truth is not intelligence. practically speaking, you think and then there is a realization. but the thinking is just a brute force approach to it, less efficient than meditation. so any doing, intention is going the long way, thus the shortcut is accepting the absence of thought and diving deeper in that. when thoughts are absent, time has no meaning and thus it can't be a process. one assumes that thinking leads to a solution but thinking is the connection of abstractions, but you really want the full truth, not the abstraction. the moment you think about anything, you abstract reality into a dream and you lose the awareness. the magic disappears, stress arises, you fall out of tune, become fearful, start searching for further solutions in thought. this isn't subtle at all, but if you're not used to meditation you won't notice it. it's like a junkie not realizing that they are addicted, constantly driven by thoughts and fear

So we turn on a neural network fit it with wheels, mic and cam and then leave it like that. Let it move around, see, listen and learn. We are not teaching or conditioning it and using it for a purpose.

It would be interesting to find out that Jiddu Krishnamurti made up all this stuff. I have not benefited from listening to his recordings, but maybe people who spend time with me were able to see some change, some goodness, some love. Who knows...

You're right that you have to listen, .. yet carefully :D! This is from Book of Life by J Krishnamurti " ....A man who believes in God can never find God. If you are open to reality, there can be no belief in reality. If you are open to the unknown, there can be no belief in it. After all, belief is a form of self-protection, and only a petty mind can believe in God....." or listen to his most famous talk when he denounced all authoritative title and worship thrown at him, his "Truth Is A Pathless Land" talk in 8/1929, 4 score and 8 years ago.

It's not complicated,that's your conclusion.In fact what he's saying is very simple and he's not trying to do anything at all.You ,and by you i mean mind,can not grasp it and that leads towards frustration .
