That camera looks pretty good for $260ish Trav! I think the speed was plenty, wide angle is great too. Would like to see it run in the middle lane on the wood routed track with a car either side though!
Cool idea, id just modify the 3d print to have the new clip to suit your camera and move it forward about half a centimetre or so, you want a 55 front 45 rear weight to let it slide a tad at the back on the limit will help it not fall out as easy and tweak the base to fit and you have a sweet setup indeed!
Was going to ask about how it handles with the C.of G with the camera on it but you commented about trying to lower it. Makes me want to drag the slotcar set out of the box in the garage, whack one of my GoPro's on a chassis and have some fun!
I saw on youtube some young guys racing slot cars, the used the cameras on the cars to drive with . A radio sender sent the vision to them in real time most of the race the cars were out of line of sight. It was a good race .
