I just split up with my babymama, moving back into a skoolie just like the day I met her when I was broken down in one :) Excited to find some cool spots and live the good life

This comment is so incredibly nice. Thank you! If I had not become a pilot, I honestly believe I would have gone into the movie industry. Most likely editing. I grew up in Southern California in the LA area so I imagine that was a real possibility. But the skies called me and I never looked back. Thank you for checking us out!

I was at these sites a year and a half ago, they are nice. If you kept going north on that road and at the road there is another small road across the street i went down and found campsites deep in the woods which had its own pond but it ain't suitable if you need to come and go a lot because its a few miles down a road only wide enough for one car but you are very secluded down there.

Very interesting! That sounds like an awesome place for some peaceful camping. We will be heading back into that area in 2024 so maybe we will look those up. Thank you for the info and thanks for watching!

Thank you! Yes, that is a very special site. One of our favorites of our east coast tour. Do you bring your kayaks with you? Paddling that glassy water was amazing. Thank you for the sub!

@@VanLifeByTheRiver I always bring my canoe. I have a few videos where I go canoeing in this area. Next time you are up this way you should check out Slush pond across the road from Mountain pond. It's not as big but is extremely privet.

@@Starnerdz There are a couple sites on the road in and two down on the corner just past the boat launch. I have a vid up of a couple of the sites and a paddle around the pond.

Thank you! We are glad that you like it. We tried to mix up the style of video and editing so that we didn’t get in a rut. We always wanted to keep our viewers guessing! The beginning sequence became our original trailer for the channel. Thanks for watching!

Ahh Josh, thank you very much for the compliment! The first three minutes took a tremendous amount of time to edit that for our first channel trailer. Check out our second trailer made a year later. I love that one too. Little secret between us, “site 125” is my favorite episode of all time. Thank you for watching!

Looks amazing!! What road would lead to the pond? I searched the site you mentioned and can’t find any info and google maps doesn’t have any visible roads/trails. Thanks 🙂

OK, look at Highway 30 heading north out of Paul Smiths, NY. Look for Mountain Pond on the right side of the road and you will see a sign at the dirt road that leads to the campsites. Let us know how it goes. This was an awesome place to camp!

Hi! The exact location that we filmed this is at (44.4734704, -74.2747832). Paul Smith’s is the nearest town. The exact location wasn’t discussed in this episode because there are so many places just like it spread throughout the entire region. So this was more about showing the region in general and the beauty that awaits you there. If you have not already, I encourage you to explore the Adirondacks to discover so many hidden gems, like this one, waiting for you. Thank you for watching!

OMG and Holy Ship, you had me on the edge of my seat with the first three or so minutes of your video. You're mixing of video and audio is top-notch. Wow, you have found your niche. I rarely comment on RU-vid videos yet after the 3-minute intro I had to pause and give you kudos. Now off to watch the remainder of the video.

Ahh, you have no idea how much that means to me. Did you ever think that music like that could be melded together with kayaking a peaceful mountain pond?! I had to try it. So glad you liked that intro. That boondocking site in this video is not too terribly far from you. We have a site waiting for you here if you head west. Thanks, my friend.

Hey, great video thanks for sharing. I was wondering. Do you remember if there is Cell Service up there? I am thinking this would be a great place to go and stay for a week. Do some work and explore a bit. Thanks

Hi, sorry for the late reply. We did have cell service with ATT. However, we probably needed the cell booster to have decent call and internet service. It would be a great week if you went to that location. So beautiful! Thank you for watching!
