Today's 3rd Bucket List Item is Route 100 but we won't make there in this video, that will be in Part 2. This is the first leg of our journey to get to Route 100.
This morning we leave Agawam, Massachusetts at 9:20am and head North towards the Vermont State Line. We take Interstate 91 North from West Springfield to Greenfield where we exit to Route 2. We drive on Route 2 from Greenfield to Charlemont before turning onto Route 8A to head North again, towards Route 100.
Along the way we stop in;
1. Shelburne Falls for photo opportunities.
2. Buckland to photograph the Deerfield River
3. Shelburne Fall to photography the Native Views Tourist Stop
4. Charlemont to photography the Bissell Bridge and Waterfall
5. Interesting private property along the roadside in Heath, MA
The start of the day was fogged in and looking a bit like rain but that wouldn't stop me for beginning this epic journey. As the morning progressed, so did the weather and it turned out to be a spectacular fall day, perfect for a backroads tour for some leaf peeping.
