Imagine being stuck in the middle of nowhere with both headlights gone, you can't get in touch with anyone & your not allowed to change the bulbs!?. Personally I think that all drivers should be taught how to maintain their vehicle's & do minor repairs, especially car drivers' the vast majority of them don't even know how to open the bonnet yet' alone change a bulb. Maintenance should be apart of the driving test, if you fail on the maintenance part you fail on the test as well!. Keep up the good work 👍.

Couldn't agree more, I know some people have to take jobs they don't like just to pay the bills, but if you find one you enjoy and are interested in, you've won the lottery of life.🤔🤔 To do list, grow another hand.😂😂 Thanks again for a really informative video. Hi Sherralin, them shiny brighty see where your going type thingies are pronounced ZENON bulbs. We used to do all our regular maintenance and fix it on the road. Nothing wrong with that. You get to know your truck. Hope you're doing ok. Another useful and helpful video. Take care MARK uk

Next Gen Scania's lights swing out the same but the screws are on the side near the step couple of them awkward to get too though.

très bien le travail, par contre vous auriez du changer l'autre ampoule car sinon il y as des différences de luminosité entre la gauche et la droite . pour infos le changements d'ampoules de phares est toujours par paire .c'est pas une obligation mais plus efficace.bonne route et en attente du prochain reportage ....

We start with no points on our license, as do NSW, QLD, and Vic..... I hear what your saying about teaching drivers basic maintenance.... However beware of the truck fiddlers, you know the ones I mean !!!! night-mare for an real mechanic that has to work on their trucks. I had to do half a nigh shift ( west coat Tas ) with just the park lights. Had a fiddle for about half an hour but couldn't get anything, no phone signal, 37 ton of fresh fish on ice, job got done... ( Memorable experience ) Kenworths have always run sealed beam lights, the newer 200 and 220 series have sealed beam LED's. I mentioned this to our fleet mechanic for a retro fit as I often do night shift....... No chance $1200 each and there's 2 each side. Are any of the old truck stops still going Jat, Dave's, etc. they used to attract a certain crowd ( Brits abroad )

If you drive with broken headlights, the police may stop you. They might just give you a verbal warning. Or they might give you a fixed penalty notice, resulting in a £60 fine and three points on your licence. They may also give you a Vehicle Defect Rectification Notice.

You don't have to change a blown fuse now ? Used to blow the fuse aswell. Or am I showing my Age ? X
