Great update video for 2024. Truly enjoyed your Cloudsurfer 7 review back then when it got released went through so many pairs of Cloudsurfer 7s. Especially when they go on sale. They're just simply so versatile for Running and casual wear. But the eye opener was the Cloudmonster Hypers. The weight of those things are so light.. that the look alone is clearly deceiving. Great reviews on both shoes.
Thanks Dusty! Another great overview. On has so many shoes and I never understood the less popular shoes (what they are best at, etc.) I went for the Cloud Surfer Trail and Eclipse. I tried the Cloud Surfer but it was just too unstable feeling for me. They felt great on foot though, super soft, slipper- like shoes. One note on the Cloud Surfer Trail is that I’m finding that the lugs wear down super fast. I’m surprised how quickly they have worn. The rest of the shoe is holding up great and I would definitely buy them again. Cheers!
Good to know about the Cloudsurfer Trail! I haven't quite put enough miles on mine to see significant wear yet. How much pavement do you run in them? Thanks for watching 👍
@@RunningWithDusty I’m doing about 75% trail running/hiking and the rest is dog walking on sidewalks. The rear nubs are wearing off way too fast, compared to just about any other shoes that I own (mostly Hoka and On)
I owned a pair of Cloud 5. Super light, super comfortable. I only used them for walking (a bad knee) . They lasted 6 months, around 250 km. developing a hole right above my right big toe. I put a clear gear tape to make these shoes last a little longer. 😊Then, another hole developed on the side by my left pinky toe from scrapping against the car while getting in and out. These shoes were the least durable shoes I have ever owned.
Great video! I'm very curious about the new cloudrise that's part of the cyclon. It looks like the surfer, which is intriguing, but I can't find anyone reviewing or talking about it.
Awesome reviews, love the video!! Just curious, what On model would you recommend for treadmill use? I just bought one and want a good pair just for use on it. I tried on the Cloud Monster 2 and really liked the wider toe box, i do have a little wider of a foot but not enough to go to a wide size. Also, I'm a bigger guy 280lbs, trying to get back into shape. Any recommendations would be great help. Thanks.
I got the Cloud Stratus 3, loud Eclipse and Cloud Monster Hyper. What do you recommend next from ON between the Cloud Runner 2 ( it seems very stable and low to the ground ,but more cushioning them a Flow) or a Cloud Monster 2 ( sin e I loved the Stratus, more than the Eclipse !) Thanks for your time.
I haven't run in the Cloud runner 2 yet, but it would be a better daily trainer (better for easy runs) than the Cloudflow. I'd personally go for the Monster 2.
"Glad you found it" What you're really trying to say is. "UNDISCOVERED." Underrated? that doesn't even make sense MATE. other than you copy and pasting everyone else's way of commenting on here.
