Thank you for your comment and I completely agree with everything you say regarding Christian, Gustav and Chelsea as well as your inference in your last sentence - On have certainly marketed well. I also agree with what you say regarding On's future development in this area. We may though have to agree to disagree over the shoe worn in Kona by Gustav. My info is that Gustav was wearing a protype/custom shoe that was cleared by Team Norway through Ironman and comes from a press release and has also been picked up by Tri 247.

@@RealLifeReviews we agree, again haha!. I didnt think it was a real prime X if that is what you're saying? that would lead to some lawsuit probably. Its just that their whole selling point has always been the plate with lugs. Sponsoring GTN, who then push these shoes as great shoes, very questionable. And suddenly big news, Gustav will race the biggest race of the year on ON shoes. but obviously this shoe had little to do with their great concept (plate with lugs) that just isnt great, they made a shoe that is very much like the Prime X. Obviously I am not a fan of the brand. Why? Too much marketing, not enough to back it up. Now they will come with a line of shoes with superfoam and some plate in it, and then they will have a great shoe I have no doubt. thanks for the quick answers always.

@gengar678 thank you so much for your response. You might notice that I don't have any reviews of the On shoes - I'm not a current fan and am not prepared to pay that much for something that I don't believe in and probably wouldn't use after the testing period. You are so right regarding their marketing and also their sponsorship of GTN. I've heard too many stories of their 'cloud' lugs tearing/splitting.
