For the ones that trolls this wonderful man, go to your mirror reflect what this amazing man does for us, one day I will be having the amazing people not just people also family, looking after us.
Hi Michael, I often visit my mum at Grenoside Crematorium, been coming here for over 13 years and seen many improvements. I bring flowers for her and place them in her vases. When the weather is nice, I sit on the grass and have a chat and tell her what's been happening within the family, that she has 2 more great granddaughters and an other great grandson. I sometimes spend an hour or so just reading my kindle, the peace and quiet up here is unbelievable (unless they are cutting the grass lol!) I agree whole heartedly about the ground staff and the work they do, the grounds are immaculate. I don't go as often in the winter time as it's like Siberia up there, the fountain is frozen and so is the water tap, but if you ask nicely the lady in the office will usually fill my water bottle up. Then it's a sprint down to mum's plot, get the ice out of the vases, take gloves off, chuck the clean water in, flowers in vases (no time to arrange them) gloves back on, it really is that cold. When my time comes, this is the place I want to be!
It was in lockdown when I had my Steve's funeral at Grenoside crematorium , it was just a shame that I was limited to 20 guests and no order of service and no wake because all the pubs and venues were closed , but it's such a beautiful place. 👍
@@MCF155 I know it's a one time thing , I always wanted a wake for Steve ,it just felt so unfinished , but then we lost our Daz , and that just put me back 2 years .X ♥️💔
That is lovely to provide a personal send off and celebration for families. Not a big fan of corporate entities, personally I prefer Independent family Funeral Home, another great video, and like a proper Yorkshireman ya say it how it is, gotta respect that👍
Dignity own it and does a good job but the hardest was done when it was owned by The Sheffield Co-operative. I remember it so well working for the old B&C
