Oooo l hope you kept that young un at the end! Im no expert but it looked beautiful. Really nice sheen good skin well marked top scales with pearlescence...a really nice body shape and head (l thought 'male') and lovely feathering on all fins...l think it deserves a chance 🐠💙

The most interesting part was at end, when you show a koi living without human care in a botle for months. And you explained how as possible, very good.

Insects land in the water and algae grows on the sides. There is enough surface area to oxygenate for one small fish. A young koi is a lot better at slowing its growth to accommodate a lack of food than a warm blooded mammal would be.

Hi you said the you used 12 level teaspoons for 8000 gallons. So for my pond how many teaspoons for the first dose would I do for 7000 gallons? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

+exercisequeen x = (12 * 7000) / 8000. 10,5 level teaspoons. But: Nobody can tell you until you check the level of dissolved organics in your water. The base dose for the treatment is 1,75 mg/litre, but dissolved organics will react with PP and lover the effectiveness of the treatment. Make the test - prepare 0,1,2,3... mg/1 PP in separate one-litre containters and after twenty minutes check: which containter still looks like there is some (pink) unreacted PP. Example: container with 1 mg PP/l is clear (white), next container with 2 mg PP/l - fainty pink. Result: to remove dissolved organics you should add another 2 mg / l. The final dose: 2 + 1,75 = 3,75 mg PP / l or 3,75 g PP/ 1m3. Don't play with PP without carreful check of your pond's water containment. Sorry for ISO 31 units.
