John Hames is the American Car Prospector, searching to find rare cars of muscle and steel, gold on wheels just waiting to be discovered. On the prowl, John’s finds include a classic 1955 Buick Century; a rare, grabber blue, 1970 Mustang Grande; a custom-built 1964 Cadillac Bullet car; and a 1955 MGA; then he happens upon a little-known museum filled with hundreds of classic motorcycles.
The American Car Prospector has found some great cars and he’s met some great people along the way. In this episode John is given a lead on a race car that was built back in the ‘60s, which has a very rare type of mechanical fuel injection. With the fuel injection alone worth $20,000, will John have the money to get this deal away?
