I've been playing about 40yrs and find above all young man; "YOU HAVE GOT SOUL"! I sense musically you are not just playing with your mind but your very soul. You have a very similar tone and feel of the great Paul Butterfield who was a natural born prodigy who took up the harp and the harp took him to places normal average harp players like me long to be. Now I've had moments playing gospel music in a room practicing and live in a gospel blues band with 2 friends I could never ever repeat again. One such practice was recorded and the singer ask me if I could play all of that again and I could play it but it wasn't the same. He explained and I truly believe this (whatever you believe or not) that my sound in the recording was anointed by the Holy Spirit which gives only the glory, Honor and Praise to Yeshua Hamashia. Im not trying to sensationalize things but this recording had alot of soul in it. One man who expanded new horizons on thos pocket piano was a country bluegrass and blues harpist whom I believe was one of the greatest of all time which many harp players borrowed and immulated such as Buddy Greene was the late Charlie McCoy. Please please check out his version of OBS Orange Blossom Special. I heard Charlie live at Fairfax High School.with a full band in 1984 for $5.00. He played almost 2 hrs. He did OBS live! Unbelievable! I'll never forget it. Listen to his studio version of John Henry. He was a pioneer. Stay true brother of the Harp! This is Jimmy C.
