Interesting fact: The guy who scored Ryan Seager actually used to play for us (Yeovil) and was from Yeovil. Apart from a worldie scored on loan he did nothing when we signed him to avoid the drop out of the football league and never got a chance in the national league. Still gutted when we released him as he was a Yeovil lad. Glad he's doing well 33 in 45 according to Wikipedia so maybe a return to Yeovil on the cards? As it must suck to be released by your hometown club.
Honestly mate have put ‘please come to Halesowen’ a few times now but we’re coming to the business end of our season one point off the top the grove is rocking at the best of times but then last home 4 games will be something else
the orange seats were bought from Taunton, Tiverton, or one of those ones - they bought the entire stand from them. Some broken seats. Some parts of that ground need some TLC, the cracked and broken concrete on one terrace - hey ho, It is expensive running a club but it does not cost much to fix stuff like that - bar staff slightly stressed but not bad, no local beer is always a minus but decent clubhouse area. The 'FIZZ' sign was confusing. As was the YELLO and BLUE ? Better not be a Ukraine thing, again. Still. The most confusing decor wise I saw was Didcot town, who play in red and white, with a BLUE bar, blue seats, blue blinds ( like the ones you get in offices ) and blue generally everywhere, like they got it all at bargain prices from an small office that went into administration and sold off al their blue stuff.
Smiv- bit of a trek I know but for the best atmosphere in non-league get up to York City. Brand new stadium aswell. Make sure to get in the south stand
