Join the Simulation Gamers Discord here - / discord Are you thinking of purchasing OTR TRUCK SIMULATOR on the xbox or playstation , well first check out my review and see if its the game for you , with footage from the game !!!
I prefer playing this to Fernbus but I can't argue with anything you said. I prefer driving a truck - that's literally the only reason I prefer it. Having said that, I fell asleep while driving on the autobahn the other night. Never had a video game send me to sleep before. I'd love to try ETS on the geforce thing but I can't justify the cost really. Can only hope that they release it on console...
I remember when they said they were sorry we had to wait as long for the last OTR update, but now it was here, they'd altered the code to free up memory and speed up bringing future updates.... ....guess Aerosoft has forgotten what they were shovelling
This reminds me of both Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2) and American Ttuck Simulator. In fact, I’d be playing ATS, if my gaming laptop wouldn’t have been essentially cooked to death at 95°C for 3 years. I repasted too little, too late. So I’m gathering components for a budget build with an upgrade path. Going with a Ryzen 5 7600 and RX 6600 and use them until I can get a Ryzen 7 7800x3D and a Sapphire Tech Nitro+ RX 7900 XTX.
Well said sir, agree with you completely, for me it was a waste of money, I have an Xbox s in the cupboard, I’m going to get a new controller for it and play ETS thru GeForce now. And maybe someday ETS will come to my ps5. Like your content. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
After all this time it's still trash, just bought it today for my ps5. I was so upset cause it can be an awesome game. The menu freezes almost every 15 minutes, can't accelerate/back up every time you make a complete stop for like 5 seconds, half the time you can't open up your mini map after closing it out. So glad it was on sale for $15 but still really feel like i wasted my money
It was like they used the next gen versions not to improve it, but to get the last gen version running with minimal framerate drops, because the only graphical "extra" PS5 got was the glow effect around lights and the arrow markers on the road/drop off points
I got it today for my PS5 for $15 and straight wasted my money. It's still so unplayable with the map freezing but still able to walk around but can't see anything besides the boarders and couple other little stuff which makes you so mad and expecially being a next gen game. The Dev is the laziest person I ever heard of
I actually really enjoyed this game once the freeze issue was resolved. However the graphics look very dated, and I have since moved on to ETS2 & ATS since getting a PC
OTR pales in comparison to ETS2 , which is a same as with some care and love , expansion in the map to other countries OTR could of been the equivalent in console !
So, is the game worth the money. I’m someone who needs to find out for myself. It’s looks good but is it worth the $ let’s find out. Great video and very helpful
@@CGDGAMES I’d like to play a sim like this I enjoy most sims, but if it’s repetitive I could well get bored fast. Do you feel like you have freedom on the open road?
I’ve been with this game from day one of launch, my honest opinion is Fabian has been blowing smoke up my Ars for to long now, I will never purchase a game from this company again.
That's a real-world EU thing, designed to make sure truckers don't conk out behind the wheel for lack of sleep. From a cold start, you'd hit Tacho, Card In, Change Mode, Accept, to start your "shift." I personally do that right after Ignition. If you stop for gas or a delivery, you can card out once you're stopped, to save your drive time. For me, it's set brakes, card out, ignition off, Lights off. Once you're ready to move again, Ignition Up, Card in, Change, Accept, Lights Up (if it's dark), release Brakes, and off you go. Once you get below about two hours remaining, you'll want to find a Rasthof (if you're on the Autobahn) or somewhere in town where you can park.
It can be, if you want to zen out and soak in some scenery. It's not The Crew 2 or anything, but it's not awful. It's not something I play frequently, but I do find it a pleasant enough way to watch the kilometers roll by.
Yes but there is no force feedback ! And it can be very temperamental at times , sometimes it works , sometimes it doesn't ! But thanks for watching I really do appreciate it 👍
I got this game on PS4 yeaterday and quickly regretted it, unfortunately Sony won't let you get a refund once you have downloaded it. Graphics and clunky controls feel like a PSone game. Don't buy it!
It's not the best on last gen fella , there are better trucking games out there , but unfortunately they are for PC , have you tried truck and logistics on n console , that's a cool trucking game ! Thanks for watching pal
@@CGDGAMES Yeah the trucking games on PC look good, but on PS4 there is nothing worth playing. I have been considering moving over to PC when I have the money, and things like this are definitely helping shape my decison! Trucks and Logistics looks decent, but it is not on PS4 so out of luck there!
I played ETS on xbox s till my controller kacked, it works tho, if you want to try it out then check a guy called Game Tech UK out, he did a video on how to make it work. I followed his instructions as to how to set it up, and it worked. If you have difficulty in trying let me know maybe I can help you in someway or another, me being 65 tho😁 could take a while to sort out. GTUK would probably be quicker for you
OTR uses unity game engine, fernbus and tourist bus use unreal engine so there upgrade wont be hard, mixing two different game engines will make shit of the game look at what happened to wwe 2k a few years ago mixing game engines
@@CGDGAMES I agree about the graphics especially in the city if it looked like fernbus I would never stop playing it but the unity is dated unless there's an upgrade some time soon they should look into releasing a texture pack to improve so it doesn't look dull and flat
@@CGDGAMES I like watching other people's views on smaller games Trucks and logistics game uses the same unity game engine it launched 3 years ago on the Nintendo switch and PC. According to the steam database it hasn't been updated since May last year on PC same with fernbus and tourist bus
