I became thirsty because of so much crying 🙂 this kind of broadcasts should be more than 80% on TV to teach and remind us to be kind and care for each other -> all this action crap and violent b....it should be prohibited! Love and respect the one and only key!!!!
Thank you immensely for this program, CBS. And to Steve Hartman. All of you who worked hard putting this together: May every day of 2023 hold a precious gem of positivity for you!
I can’t believe this is my first time watching this. I knew nothing about this series. From here on out I will watch this and definitely will be binge watching. I will add this to my keeping me sane go to.
Steve, you have saved my life so many times...CBS may pay ya...but You work for GOD and he was wise to choose you. BLESS you and your entire family you are amazing!!! 😁🤗🎅🤶
Collin, you are an amazing human being who is well deserving of the life you have. Your heart is so beautiful and I hope that you read this and know that you are such a special person.
I really like Steve’s episodes and stories. There’s no season to share kindness and generosity. That effort of kindness needs to be part of us. It shouldn’t be some random act, but something we would all do. It’s how we keep our society whole. God Bless.
Where would I be without you Steve Hartman? You bring me joy, love, and faith in the goodness of people when the world is yelling "everything is terrible". I know I can always find a Steve Hartman video telling me the "other side"...where regular people do inspiring things. We forget that they are even out there...except for Steve who is always there to remind us.
LISTEN HERE...I am spending a nice part of my day watching these wonderful stories and crying real tears of happiness over here!!! PRAISE GOD for how He allows things sometimes that seem bad, but He is able to make all things good at the end of the day! I LOVE ALL THESE STORIES! Jesus does for us, certainly we can help others! To God be the GLORY!
Steve, my wife and I have enjoyed you for years on CBS Sunday morning. Thank you so much for what you bring to broadcasting. On CBS Sunday morning when they do not announce your name as part of that Episode I am a bit disappointed. Because I know The gift you have to share. I hope you're able to read this Because I'm so Grateful to have this opportunity To try to thank you. Please keep up the good work. Your biggest fan. Ralph
Boy did I need your stories today. I live your stories on a daily basis thank you HP. I just got evicted from my apt. I am 74 and homeless with four pets. I have arranged places for my pets, it is time for me to go. It is too damn expensive to live. Thank you so much for helping me get through this with "kindness".
To carrying a Thank you letter for so many years , that meant a lot , then to finally meet the little girl , now grown meant so much to him , it was so heart warming God bless 🙏🏽❤
That son’s mother was a fortunate woman. What a tribute by him as to who she was. He couldn’t have said or done anything better. Glory is a lucky child coming into a family like his.
Watching on Christmas Eve from Costa Rica, where I teach English and often ask that my students watch OTRWSH so that we can have something fun and inspirational to talk about. ¡Gracias, Steve, y felices fiestas!
I found your program by accident on RU-vid, I just turned 71 on Monday and had thought there were few good souls to be found. You have shown me how very wrong I was. Thank You so much. We just have to look a little harder. Ray
Steve Hartman has the best job in America! How wonderful it must be to have the opportunity to meet such people. With all the mostly negative news these days, I have to thank CBS & Mr Hartman for bringing me such joy and hope. These people are the epitome of the real Americans. I pray that in the new year, he will find more and more deserving citizens to report on. God has blessed America because of people like these. Happy New Year to all Americans. Let’s use these stories as examples for how we can better our country and help one another. 🥰
Steve Hartman You stories have incorporated into part of my class lesson every Thursday. I teach exceptional learners and they and me love them. We love Kindness 101. Can you bring that back as well??? Please!!!!
Thank you for reminding us about the amazing people in our country. Thank you for doing this with such heart, sincerity, and compassion. Hope you never tire of this job. The world needs this desperately right now.
Steve Hartman, your stories put smiles on my face and warm my heart each time you share! Our world is in such chaos, but you always remind us of the good that still and will continue to go on. Thank you so much and GOD BLESS YOU!!!
Thanks Steve for all your beautiful stories. Whenever I watch your show, all of my stress and sadness melts away. Your stories lift me up. Thank you! 🌺🌺🌸🏵🏵
_I have been binge-watching Steve's "On the Road" videos. With the way things are in our country today it is absolutely necessary to boost one's hope for the future. Seeing the good in our people by way pf these small examples makes my heart fill with hope and joy. I felt the need to feel good about my country and the people in it and happened upon this series. I love watching the kindness and humanity and that in itself makes me more optimistic in our future!_
Oh, thank You Steve for bringing us these stories of these wonderful generous people!!! Yes!!! I'm inspired now to go out and do something special for someone, too🤩😍
I listened to Paul Harvey for over 30 years! I loved his news broadcast, and listened to it faithfully at 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday! Guys that had never listened to him, would eventually say, “hey, it’s Paul Harvey time”! (And yes I know he worked for ABC). When he died I was very sad, because an era had passed of a different kind of news broadcast. Then Steve Hartman came through the door (metaphorically speaking) into my life, on You Tube. I love his stories, his caring, the way he presents each person. Even the interactions with his kids! His stories will bring tears, a smile, laughter depending on the content. How can I watch these as they are posted throughout the year, and then watch the Christmas edition, which I have already seen them, and still get tears in my eyes? Well done! Love the show! So thank you Steve for what you do, the people that Steve works with to get these stories out. And CBS for broadcasting these stories On The Road with Steve Hartman. Now you know, the rest of the story!
Steve Hartman: You are a wonderful storyteller. I enjoyed each and every story. It touched me more than I can say. Keep up this inspiring work. Bless you!!
Oh my, these dads are priceless. So many children miss the love, discipline, care and guidance of that male presence in the home. God bless you and keep you safe dads. We love you
This show should be the number one show on television or the internet because it's really needed in these EVIL and SELFISH times! Thanks, Steve, you are an excellent replacement for the late Charles Kurault's inspiring stories several decades ago, in fact in my opinion, your stories are MUCH better. God BLESS you! ❤️🙏😊👍
Gloria was a wonderful mom and raised her son with love, compassion, dedication to his family, and responsibility to others. My deepest condolences to Gloria’s son, family, and friends. May the memories and love of your mom stay with you all of your life. You showed the world the deep love you have for your mom. God bless you!
This has been the best thing to watch while completing Christmas gift wrapping and card writing. My heart is filled with such gratitude and renewed hope in humanity ❤
Aw, your smile.. I see your little girl in your eyes and smile. I remember when she did a show with you. Well, some of it. Your little girl's face has stayed with me since then. When I start feeling down, her little face and kindness comes to mind and I start feeling better. Thank you Steve Hartman for all the happiness you bring to our lives. From Texas
I love love love these stories. Balling my eyes out when that little girl invited the ypu g woman in from jogging to say goodbye to her deceased Dad..omg I love the dads in the high school. There must be a lot of these dads in that community who work around their own work to help those kids. They are saving those kids! God Bless the Dads
your stories are so touching, always bring tears to my eyes. I love it when mankind is so touching and you know there are very good people in the world. Please continue to bring us stoies of hope joy and love. God bless you !
Hey....on tonight's episode you interviewed the guy that made an ice skating rink at his home and invited all the neighborhood kids to come. This was the most heartwarming story I've heard all year! Sure made me happy for all those children!!
It's 2022. There's war in Ukraine and Covid everywhere, but Steve Hartman never fails in reminding me that there is hope and beauty in humanity. You just have to know where to look.
Can't imagine the burden of guilt and condemnation a lot of people (parents, brothers/sisters, etc.) are under because they are not able to fulfil certain basic obligations, not for a lack of trying but just the hand that life dealt them. To hear someone say, "You are worthy", "You are deserving", "you are defined by more than just what you are able to provide" must be so liberating that it causes them to break down in tears. Truly, this world can do with a lot more kindness than we see right now.
Every single story was beautiful! These are always my favorite to watch and for a little bit forget about everything bad that’s going on in our world. I can’t pick a favorite bc they are all incredible in their own way, but hearing how the secret Santa tradition started was really great. Knowing he was once homeless and then became very wealthy and never forget where he started and made sure to give to others is something really special.
A wonderful story to share. I am so sorry that his mom took so ill & passed so young. I can never work out "WHY" these horrible things happen. But another part of this important story is connection. His family communicating & not afraid to talk about the impending death & show love. Also the connection among strangers - showing support to help raise the $ needed. It snowballed. So wonderfully. RIP to his dear mom, but she's with him ALWAYS now. She's in his heart. Thank you.
Watching this on Christmas Day has brought tears to my eyes, joy and gratitude in my heart. Thank you, Steve, for these amazing stories. Blessings to you and yours in the New Year.
Thank you so much, Steve Hartman! This brought me so much joy and a many tears. It was the perfect way to end a beautiful Christmas Day. Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family.
Wow Dustin’s story was just heartwarming 🥰❤️💕❤️🥰 ….. I wrote this comment before watching the whole video and I must say that I shed more than a few tears. Steve Hartman is a National Treasure for bringing us these stories all these years. The last story really touched me as well, I wish I had the money to lift everyone of the Native American families out of poverty all across the country. They have suffered so much, I think about them often. Thanks again Steve for sharing the simple message that kindness to everyone should be our daily mission.
