And if you enjoyed this sketch and liked and subscribed it when it first came out, and still you keep coming back to enjoy it again and again because it is so iconic, well, maybe head over to the Patreon page. Just sayin'.
I just realised Julie recorded herself multiple times until she gets the best footage of herself recording multiple times until she gets the best footage
Oh sure, but I think the real kudos is down to the fact that she had to do half the director's job for her. Getting that motivation clarified was like pulling teeth. After that, of course, it was a breeze!
@@garyha2650 ; Un fort u nutly Gary, NOTHING funny about pandemic #1, and pandemic $2 will likely be a scream, but not *that* [good] kind. 139,000 dead in the U.S., and tweetle Dumb is tweetledeeing
'I guess you could say, she got in over her head.' 'I guess you could say, she went off the deep end.' 'I guess you could say, she found herself in troubled waters.' YYYEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!
LOL, I was thinking the same thing! I'm really glad to see Julie actually put hers to good use here, unlike mine which has been gathering dust for about 5 years haha.
I appreciate you leaving this comment up. I too was wondering if using the term 'chucklefest' in my communications would fit me, but after seeing it here like this, I decided against it.
I just want to point out that your acting skills are impressive Julie; it's clear that you take the time to build every character and I find that really admiring. Love from Argentina 🇦🇷
My guess is that this sketch is based from true experiences and that directors really have to deal with this kind of surreal behavior from some of the actors, which makes it even funnier
Ermanno Monforti as someone who was on set as a ‘bystander’ (in the movie) I can confirm that I have seen some of that shit and may or may not have been a part of something like that
Wow, something I can relate to! Having played "dead person in water" myself, I remember that the director and the set wasn't too familiar with how people float in water and was annoyed that my legs were more submerged in the water than the upper body and kept asking me to "float straight" because I was ruining the shot. After a couple of times explaining that was physically impossible they did, to their credit, device a handy method of filling my pants with empty plastic bottles which kept my legs floating. It was also a literally 3 second shot in a short movie and they spent 4-5 hours trying to film it...
That sounds so frustrating to deal with and the outcome would look so unreal. I can almost feel the "you are just a dead body and we can replace you in a heartbeat so you have no say in this"-kind of attitude.
I think dead bodies tend to float more level because there's less air in their lungs vs a living person holding their breath. Meaning the torso is not as buoyant.
The reverse is also true and seems to happen on many sets. Trying to get a body to sink into the depths... "What do you mean, buoyancy? Why won't their chest go down?"
One day when she’s insanely famous and chilling with A-list celebrities we’re gonna be able to say we knew about her and her incredible talent BEFORE she was besties with Scarlet Johansson (or whoever). Never forget you’re incredibly talented and beautiful on the inside and out! 😍❤️
The over enthusiastic drama kids in high school "WhAts mY mOtivAtIoN!" The kids in drama class only there too get an easy grade "Im dead? so I just have to lie here and do nothing? Nap time!"
Heyyy, didn't expect to see you here. Cool move with the endorsement. Only 15k left to go to reach that milestone, she'll get it in no time. Let's go boys.. and gals!
Something I appreciate about these videos is they’re all so different. There’s no one theme you only stick to. You bring something new and interesting to each video. And you bring many smiles to many faces. Thank you.
I've done it. It was honestly terrifying. The other actor was supposed to cut up my body with a knife for a scene and for the closeup it was a real knife. My eyes had to be closed while a guy was slicing with a knife onto a jerry rigged contraption that I think was literally just a wooden board on my leg. I preferred the scenes where I was still alive.
@@jonathanj2205 I would presume camera angles. If the board isn't visible the angle of the knife and mechanics of slicing are largely identical to cutting into the leg. I never saw the final footage. It was for a tv show and I never actually found out what episode it was.
1:14 - ACTOR: Actually, could you just call me by my character name? It helps me stay in the mindset.. - DIRECTOR: Yeah, okay. Whenever you’re ready... Dead Body Number 1. 😂😂😂 Btw, Julie, your dead-pool acting was top notch! Give this woman an academy award already! 👏👏 This was hilarious, and I love the puns from Deborah. 😂 Another great video! 👍👍
That makes no sense. Watch it, be amazed (or not, but most likely you will, it's really good) and then comment. Noone needs blind idolization, mindless appreciation and shallow compliments.
She needs to be comfortably over 1mill subs (and rising). Easily one of the absolute best content creators on RU-vid. Discovered her after the pandemic set in and I've never looked back. So.Many.Good.Videos. Her acting, writing and editing is masterclass. ❤️
I really love your dedication to these skits. I've seen a lot of stuff like this, and most often it's really kind of half-assed or very obvious someone is just doing it for views. Would be thrilled to see what you could do with a budget, actors and some sets to work on.
I just discovered your channel a week ago and have binged watched all your videos. Such a great actress with brilliant expressions. Love from India ❤❤👍
This was real good , only give away but all was still real top knock ✊ the finger nail polish all 3 women had the same fingers color , had to wear rubber gloves for forensics tech, director never show hands in camera. Over all A+ I would hire .super job keep up the work.
