My camera is packed and I’m off on another adventure to photograph more species of hummingbirds. What you are watching was recorded a few days ago, and you are going to see me in Brazil for the next few videos!
My name is Carole Turek and I am on a quest to photograph every single hummingbird species on the planet! There are over 350 types and I currently have photographed more than 150 of them.

I've been here a week and I must say Brazil is absolutely beautiful. There are many parts of it where I would swear I was in the US.

Safety? I’m not sure. But Brazil only closed there borders in July I think, which is why it’s legal. And also, you’re right, Brazil has the second most cases, it’s a shame my home-country is like this

As long as the country will let you in, you can fly no problem. I planned this trip to Brazil in 2019 and I am happy that Brazil opened its borders so I could get in. I feel as safe in Brazil as I do in Los Angeles, my home town.

She rents an apartment and lives frugally to do this. Hopefully Carole doesn't get "haters" because she travels so much, obviously this is Caroles lifes passion and makes sacrifices to be able to do this.

Brazil have 85 species of hummingbirds, Equador have more hummingbird, 200 on the Equador amazon and the andes.

I enjoy your new style but your same personality ;) It's important people understand you are taking plenty of precautions and both countries have seen fit for you to travel. Its not reckless, you have a N95 mask on and do all the little things, people need to know life not well lived is the real tragedy!

Since I live in Los Angeles County (which accounts for almost half the cases in California) I think I am am much safer out in the rainforest in Brazil, where there is a very limited number of people! And I came with N95 masks.

Usa have 200.000 deaths for covid19, USE MASK , nobody to can walk less mask. Is illegal act.
