On Their KTM'S In South Africa - Langebaan & Ceres Part 1 

In December 2022 we took a round trip from Cape Town, up the west coast, to Langebaan and spent a few nights with friends, after which we headed for Ceres, up the Piekenierskloof Pass, stopping in Citrusdal to put fuel in and have brunch. We then headed for Ceres, via the Middelberg Pass, which was Edna's first time doing a dirt road pass, so of course wasn't without incident.. Our trip then took us down the Gydo Pass into Ceres where we stopped to buy groceries and then down the Michells Pass when the wind started picking up like crazy. Once we turned off to go to our accommodation at Moreson River Cottages, the wind was behind us, so not as severe. Part 2 will cover our stay nexto the river, when we get rained in, and then back to Cape Town via the scenic Baines Kloof Pass and also the Franschoek Pass.
