great battle, but finally Ford LOST, I think Ford has to rethink the strategy, back in 60s, Ferrari was something, now they are great but not even close to Porsche , so let Ford focus on beating Porsche for the 19/20 lemans

They put up a good fight though! Seems the Ford has the edge in too speed, but the Porsche just has such cornering capabilities.

@@joshfoley8862 Its a shame that Fords touted v6 is not able to gain any lead over a simple NA flat 6 motor as well Yeah Ford fought well, but ultimately failed against Porsche, which says a lot about Porsche who does more with less unlike Ford who had to spend way more to do less

You are basically thanking unfair regulations for putting racing second and putting unfairness first. What did we come to Lemans for? Yeah. RACING. GOOD OLD RACING. I would prefer if all the cars and drivers gave their all with the cars doing full power and battling hard overnight. Not with the governing body ruining the entertainment. But I respect your opinion. I know its tiring to the same car win over and over again. But please. We want racing back.

@@thee8858 Well if that was the case Ferrari would instantly take the win, cuz it has a proper V8 unlike Fords CPC V6 TT and has a FPC which means more revs to counter lack of low end , so if it was without regulations the race would ve been unfair I say its Fords weakness in not able to make a small high revving V8 which led to this pathetic V6

@@joshmiller804 take a look at about 2:08. The Ford is trying to nudge the Porsche to the left side. I think the Porsche just pushed back in retaliation, sending a message. It's what happens when in a heated battle. No damage occurred.

Imho i think that both engines sound awesome and are different philosophies from 2 countries with an astonishing racing history. Also, that Ford engine was brought to it's limit with the Hoonitruck project that Ken Block's team built for the Gymkhana 10 video.
