I am from Trinidad, and let me tell everybody, drawing attention to a cracked or broken laundry basket is just petty,I come here to see her tasty meals and day to day living!Anything else is just white noise!LAURA,KEEP D LAUNDRY BASKET,😂😂😂
I love how you spoke about God and fall. He does make fall so beautiful with His touch His creation His artwork. He is faithful! You do great at all you do! Really enjoy your channel! Thank you!
@@nancyfarkas3592 She didn't say she would not be interested in Lisa's view at any time ever. Just not now, at least that's how I would interpret it. Not an insult, just a statement of personal preference for the time being.
Laura I’ve been loving your channel even more than usual lately! Your funny personality has been shining through more in recent videos and it has added something extra special I think! Anyway just wanted to share that😃❤️
Good Morning Laura! Wonderful video as always. I personally think you should keep that laundry basket and start a new trend here on RU-vid. It would also make the laundry basket haters annoyed. 🤣Sorry, but in the world today there are worse things to worry about and people should realize that. Love that you let your daughter decorate as well!
I’m so ready for fall too! And I have an old wicker laundry hamper/basket that was my granny’s and it keeps losing pieces off the top but I can’t bear to get rid of it. It will just keep getting shorter and shorter and eventually disappear 😂😂❤️
Laura there are a lot of haters who hide behind the written word, and would never say to you in person what they feel they can say in a comment box. You’re channel is wonderful. Ignore and let it go.
Since visiting the US, I've become addicted to pumpkin spice loaf, the one at Starbucks. But my own made from scratch using fresh cooked pumpkin. My entire house smells amazing any time I bake it!
Refreshing to see someone who is like myself when it comes to decorating. I love seeing houses decorated, and would love to have all the things. But I just can’t. I go “all out” for Christmas and that just means putting up the tree and garland on my staircase. Maybe some pine cones here and there. I feel like a bad homemaker with my lack in decorating when I see all these other RU-vid homemakers with pretty decorated houses but… it’s just not me. Plus you have to find a place to store all that stuff. I’m struggling to store my 4 (soon to be 5) kids stuff, why take up space with seasonal decor. I love how simple and realistic your home is (I love Lisa’s house too, but that’s more of a dream than reality for me!), it’s always comforting to see “average” houses that aren’t 100% Pinterest perfect
id love a farmhouse kitchen but looking at it today we dont have a fitted kitchen we have ramdon ones 1 top ones and double base ones and nothing matchess and it does look like a farmhousey lol got farmyard amnimals oin mugs tea coffee sugar jars old enamal bread bin prop cake tins biscuit cookie jar
QUESTION: I may have missed it but how did you make your broth in the instapot? You always are so inspiring on how you just dive in and cook, clean all the things!! Love your energy!! I love the porch!! And you are correct; God's beauty is everywhere!!
I love watching you do dishes. Isn't that strange? Lol! I love cleaning, if that's not obvious! Haha! If you did a cleaning video, i would gladly watch!
Thank you for your perspective on decorating! I love your comment about how God provides us fall decore all around us with each season HE provides! Just loved that so ty for the reminder! I too am not very good with decorating but have a friend who I can bounce things off of just like you have your sis!
Laura…you can maximize your avocado haul by slicing them in half, rub each slice with lemon, vacuum seal, and freeze. I’ve been doing this since September 2022 and it’s been a life saver. I just want to say that I ENJOY your channel VERY much. I have learned how to use essential oils in both my cleaning and cooking, I have changed my dependency on cleaning products (I’m still working on laundry soap), and I have been cooking/baking from scratch more often. Remember, sometimes the old item is the best item. Thank you! (I need to go and make some lip balm and FYI, your eczema salve has helped me with my skin condition 😊)…
I noticed that you bought a bunch of avocados.. Just a tip that I recently learned, after throwing away dozens of avocados. The organic avocados will ripen slowly, and won't get stringy or brown! The extra cost of the organic is definitely worth it because I waste so much less!
@@rhondaborders3452 well then I must just be doing it wrong..mine are often stringy and a little discolored and they're barely ripe, and I have a family of 9!😢 I don't understand why people feel the need to spurn others in the comments who are just trying to share helpful info. Like, what good did that do either of us, except to help you feel like you're smarter than some random person on the internet?? I enjoy comments that share tips, and that was something I recently learned and I want to share it with others. I also know it helps her channel when people comment. I'm sorry if you found it to be a thoughtless comment... Just pass it by next time. 😏
Loved watching you cook and clean and especially loved when you were weeding out your flower bed you’re doggy was with you. What’s his or her name? I had a yellow lab named Lukie and he loved being with us whenever we were. Love how you improvise when you’re out of different items. 😊
The laundry basket thing made me laugh. Today as I was grabbing my old falling to pieces laundry basket, pieces just flew all over haha my mom keeps trying to find me a new replacement and I just keep returning to sender lol I thought I was the only one holding on to my old faithful laundry basket. Glad to know others are out there ;) I am the exact same way! Mess bothers me…and boy is there messes and things that get out of place with a large family! Haha but like you said, it’s easier to clean as you go, it takes a minute to scrub a dirty pan right after use versus waiting and scrubbing for 10 minutes. Or pick up things that aren’t in their places as you see them versus waiting there are like 100.
Add a little bit of cream cheese in your scrambled eggs to make them creamy. Onions don’t need to go in the refrigerator. My laundry basket looks like yours. Maybe one of your kids would like to be the seasonal decorator. Thanks for the recipes.
Love your videos and your front porch looks really nice The laundry basket is fine! It has a lot of memories I’m sure of all the laundry you have done! You are a great mom and a great cook and I can tell you take pride in loving your family and taking care of them! God bless
I love how you make cooking and keeping up with dishes look so routine and painless. You are an inspiration to me because those things feel so daunting to me. I love your channel!
I really admire how tiny and organized your home is.I have 5 kids and we are over taken by all the things. I feel guilty to not let them keep everything. But im not managing my home to a good standard now. Anyway if you have any realistic organizational ideas id appreciate it 😅
HAPPY FRIDAY Laura, family, and fur babies. LAURA I love your porch and the color of your door. YOU ARE doing just fine with your decorating. YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL SOUL LAURA. Enjoy your weekend. STTB*Shared To The Burgh

I started adding chocolate chips to my banana bread a few years ago. It was a game changer! I don’t think my grandkids even think banana bread is a thing without chocolate chips! Lol
Just concerned about the raspiness in your voice. Would be a good idea to get an opinion from an ENT doctor. You take such great care of your family and we love your channel.😊 You are a sweet and humble Mama💕
Do you sell your homemade cream and facial cream I would love to purchase some and I’m fixing to try and start making bread I don’t have a bread machine do I need to purchase one 😊I absolutely love you and yours sisters videos love them thank you fora
Hi Laura, I’ve been following you for quite a bit now I started following you when you were doing a lot about essential oils and I signed up for a class that you have on essential oils but with busyness I haven’t had a chance to complete the class , I’m just wondering if you can please refer me to the website again where I can login, I can’t recall if it was Teachable or learnable something of that nature but I would greatly appreciate it if you could refer me back to that site since I’m starting to get back into essential oils and trying to live a holistic life, cleaner, environment and better eating, thank you so much. Hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, Sonia C.
Hello Laura. I can't believe you aren't buying flour, wheat berries, honey, sugar, etc. from Azure Standard. There is nowhere that offers better food/products than Azure.
To my understanding, it is usually very dependant on genetic predisposition such as if it runs in the family and on the specific blood type one has. She might not need to be concerned about it...also, their wholesome diet might be enough of a counter-affect
The book, What the HDL is Wrong With My Cholesterol is an excellent look by cardiologists about the truth about good quality fats. Meat sources matter!
I wonder if you get a salary for all the house work and child care you do almost exclusively alone? One thing that stood out to me when I used to be a Christian is how a wife is taught that she needs to show gratitude to her husband for “providing” for her as if all of her endless and repetitive 24/7 work does not count as an earned right to the housing, clothing, and food he “provides.” It is all posed as if the husband’s provision is a charitable gift while wife’s work is nothing to be regarded as being entitled to paid wages or provisions. In society in general, Men need rewards for their contributions such as respect and the right to rule. However, women’s contributions are expected to be done for joy’s sake and taken for granted. No rewards for women, only joy and serving from the heart 😂 If I submit to my husband in everything, meaning I literally give up every human right I have, and with it I give up all Status since I have no rights anymore to decide anything for myself, how then is the husband the one praised for sacrificing and giving himself up for his wife? 🤔 At that point the husband is only rationing increments of rights back to his wife and then praised for sacrificing himself for her as if she did not just do the same thing for him first. Again it’s that reward system for men while taking women for granted. It is this type of bullshit and mental gymnastics found in the Bible that made me realize the verses on male headship are rooted in pride and ego. Is all about status for men and humiliation for women. I’ve been both a housewife and a career woman at different times in my life, and I can tell you that being a housewife and mother was way more physical and mental work than having an established career outside the home. I hope one day society finally acknowledges and rewards women for those roles and contributions to society instead of posing it like they are freeloading off their husbands generosity.
