I can't imagine having 8 children, all your animals, your channels, homeschooling, being a wife, redoing your house or doing projects and your large home and being sane. May God Continue To Bless You Angie!! You are awesome and amazing! ❤
I am cranky after a Wally World trip too. You are not alone. Thanks for telling us the story about the guy in the parking lot. That reminded me that I wanted to talk to my son about such things. The young men sometimes need reminders!
"Pretend you didn't see that", I ❤ that you keep the little real bits of reality in your videos 😂 I say that all the time! Also, my new motto lately is that the boring things in life (like grocery shopping, meals, cleaning, and such) are actually what life is made of so make it happy, the rest are just toppings.
That shot of the kids running through the chickens - just made my heart happy seeing them so carefree with all the animals around them, my dream childhood!
Your grocery haul is better than standup, I live in Poland, have no use for the american grocery haul, yet I’m here ENJOYING every second of it, It’s so great to have you back! 🌅🌅🌅
This video takes me back to the days when I was young and had 6 children, 1-10 years. I went grocery shopping every 2 weeks with all 6 kids, and pushed a cart with a baby in it, and pulled a cart with a toddler in it and the other 4 followed around me, fetching this and that to help. Occasionally I’d go at night and my husband would watch the kiddos. Those days I was tired and did not look forward to shopping day. Now, I’m 72 and all of those kids are grown middle age adults with kids of their own, some even adults . It went by so quickly, and now here I am in a house by myself, shopping at my leisure, but remembering those days as treasured days, that seem like a dream.
RE: being approached by men in a parking lot, store, etc. I was at Target a couple of weeks ago with a basket full of stuff, and no bags. I backed myself into my trunk, with my cart in front of me, and unloaded facing the parking lot. An old man asked me why I was behaving strangely, was I expecting to be attacked? Yes, I told him. Women always watch for attackers. He simply could not compute that info, and thought I was being dramatic. The following week I was approached by a man in a grocery parking lot who saw my van full of carseats. He was VERY interested as to where my children were. Where was my husband? It was terrifying.
This was the most fun I have ever had watching one of these videos. You are so real and uncensored. That’s what makes it so much fun. I think we all have times when we have stream of consciousness speeches, and they are delightful. Thanks for making my day.
It's so refreshing to watch this video. Not all time grocery shopping is interesting. But watching you, make me thank all the gods because here the service is like, "do you want us to load the stuff in your vehicle or make a home delivery. " I usually prefer to be as independent as possible but moving around heavy things is not my cup of tea. And to top it you have to handle those men, oh my. You are such a lovely person. I look up to you. Thank you for this and all your videos.
I will do a Sam's club pickup order and then go into Costco. It makes it a little quicker. The other thing that helps is a cooler in the car for frozen stuff. Love these hauls.
I LOVED this one!!! It was so real. It reminded me of me and real life. Now I'm waiting for the one that shows the laundry piled up and the floor dirty and...
Examples of how I find you so hilarious and wonderful: Totally missing the arm rest. Sweatin’ like a hooker in church 😂😂😂😂 Lieutenant Dan! And this ain’t that kinda channel y’all! 😂😂😂 I love how real you are. I think you are such an exceptional human being ❤❤❤❤ don’t ever forget it ❤
On your man comment: yes I recently had a man stop me in a parking lot to joke about how tiny I am in comparison to my large SUV. I'm 5ft tall, with two toddlers and 38w pregnant. It was not funny, it was nerve wrecking.
Angie. Would you mind filming a video on how you divide up these groceries for the fridge/freezer and the pantry. How long do the fresh things (salad leaves, bananas, apples ) last? Do you wash them and store them differently? It would be nice to get some ideas on how to put away a big grocery shopping apart from shoving everything in the freezer so they don't go off 😂
Sam's advice: When you get there, grab a box/bring a bag, load items into the box/bag as you shop, then use Scan & Go to ring everything up and check out. That way everything can stay in the cart and load easily into the car 😊
Just love the grocery haul’s ❤️🥰 especially when it’s in a different country!! I live in England 🏴… I find it so interesting all the different foods you can get! We don’t have Raisin Bran & I loved that when we visited LA for a holiday 😋 & the Swedish Fish are delicious!!!! I’m jealous right now!!! Brilliant commentary Angela👍😍 more more more please!!!!!
I dread getting my nails done, the same dipping deal you do, but it does save a ton of time, plus it keeps my cuticles and fingers from cracking open in the winter. (I hate wearing those stinking rubber gloves!) I can make them stretch about three weeks, so it’s not too expensive or having to sit in that chair to be tortured for an hour. I hate the drill. Makes me think of the dreaded dentist!! 🤣Anyhoo, I totally agree and understand the nail thing! You cracked me up talking about walking on the wild side of life! Love your sense of humor! Better to be safe than sorry when someone approaches and you’re not sure. I admire you so much. In your shoes, I’d be a blubbering idiot by then end of each day. I’m an old lady now, but even in my younger days, I couldn’t have managed like you can! You go girl! You’re awesome! ❤️
Lately, I do a drive up at Walmart for all the big stuff- TP, paper towels, water, pop. And I order dog food and cat food for either delivery or drive up from whoever has our brands on sale!!! Both save a lot of room in the carts!!!
Always always go to the nail or hair salon 1st!!!! That way you get compliments on your nails etc. Hair compliments help your hairdresser earn new clients...bonus. Buy popsicles & ice cream at the very last stop you make. Always take a teenager or a 10 year old grandson to do the heavy lifting for you if your husband is not shopping with you. It helps alot. And always stop and get yourself a yummy drink before you hit the shops. It makes the day seem better. 🥰
😂 when you mentioned raisin brand being Rosie’s favorite cereal, then next you showed chicken nuggets, it reminded me of when she was obsessed with fried chicken!! 😂😂🥰🥰
I love your grocery hauls because you guys buy the same kind of stuff we do and it makes me not feel so bad. A ton of RU-vidrs out there are like all organic and no snacky stuff and I’m like man I feed my family bad compared to them. Also I just don’t have the money for all organic lol
I have 5 kids and they are a handful I am happy god blessed me with them. God bless you for showing your kids love may God bless you and your family. You are super mom.
I really must say I much prefer this style of real vlogging than the just talking at the camera style. Nice to see sneak peaks of the kids and farm too
Hi Angela i live in Europe, our Grocery store is only 5 min walking down the road and i "only" have two kids but... I still hate grocery shopping and i know the struggle, the sweating and all the things😭🛒😂😂😂i loved this video and your humor😂😂😂In Europe we all live very on top of each other all the time so i found really interesting the creepy feeling of a man being close to you in the parking lot We don't have all that personal space so i wouldn't be bothered to be in the lift with 4 men, i suppose it's just normality and happens just always here. We also are never isolated thought. And at the same time people here don't necessarily make jokes or stuff, we just normally ignore each other. 😮Just interesting
Question. I noticed you bought the popsicles at the first stop. How did they stay frozen 6 hrs later and still frozen when showing your haul? Trickery? ;)
I loved this vlog so much! You remind me of myself when I am shopping 🤣 I also agree about men. I have lots of wonderful men in my family, but I do appreciate it when strange men respect boundaries. Sadly, it's just the day and age we live in.
Fully cooked bacon is good but a little salty. I use like 30 paper towels to get all the grease off of them. I only purchase for freezer meals also. Otherwise I bake my bacon in the oven. It’s a game changer! I love these type of videos! 🎉 Happy Easter to your sweet family ❤
@@SusieQZee I love cooking bacon in the oven! I always loathed standing and babysitting frying bacon on the stove. I’d get popped at, I would make such a huge mess and it was just not fun for me. I got two really large baking sheets and can fit a ton of bacon on them and I just love how they come out flat, crisp and it’s less babysitting. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️😂
100 % agree about men approaching in awkward scenarios like its dusk and they walk right behind you or come up to your car or something even though 99% of the time they aren't doing anything
I did almost the same grocery haul the other day. I think we need to form grocery buddies so we can have each other’s back against grocery store creeps and vent to each other. 😉😂
Oh my goodness, Noah sounds like a teenager! I've been using your older videos (pre-twins era lol) as background motivation when I have to clean house (like someone is here cleaning with me lol) and so hearing the juxtaposition of his little baby voice then vs now, WOAH!
Our cat loves a good grocery haul too! As soon as I’m home, she’s like mom give me an empty bag to get it please! Love your videos❤ you always give me a laugh 😊
Angie! Have you ever made Pioneer woman’s Tater Tott sausage egg cheese casserole?? Its now the most requested by my family… so stinkin good - making it every holiday night before- toss in oven in the mornin.
