I love this story arc. I love these scenes. I love being totally frustrated by feeling baffled that a family that talks so gd@mmed much, could never take the time to ask grace a simple question "are you sleeping with him?" that simply would have put it all in the realm of an affaire blanche, as the french call it (forgive my spelling) and i'm saying this as someone who had a love affair with her h.s. teacher!
@gablison@xKiB5 'To the girl with the loneliest eyes. Love always August.' The words that kill...:) I'm pretty sure you know it already by now, though...
Does anyone know if the 3 dvd came out yet i know I signed a petion for it long ago lol , I wish their was a book or something to have an ending I want this part of the tv to come alive again , their both my favorite and i love the story , and this my favorite part of this scene how she finally kissed him and he waited then kissed her back finally :)
@jeanneadele Oh my god, so it was a happy ending:) How great! The situation does remind that of Grace/Mr. Dimitri. Is it possible that your age difference was a bit less outspoken? I think that it was one of the most 'visible' reasons Mr. Dimitri didn't do the same thing your sweatheart did. They were 'soulmates', no doubts here, but their minds still didn't function on the same level. He was a grown up man, she - teenage girl. I guess, this is how Dimitri saw it. What do you think ???
as well as endings can. we spent time together after school, jan. 2 june,w/the door always open. anyone could join us. there was nothing said directly, and no touching. just feeling. grace&dimitri had literature, we had music. we attended the school play along w/my mother. it was my way of being as open as possible. it was my senior year. just days before graduation, he gently told me how he felt. & asked me if i could tell him how i felt. then he suggested that i go talk to my mother.
in some ways maybe this arc catches my interest because of the similarities, and i'm thinking about writing a story about it. i was 17, he was 31. like grace i was precocious and had a certain innocence. what is the age diff. here? grace is portrayed as maybe 15 years old? she clearly has more school to go, whereas i was out of the school that june. he later told me the other teachers gave him a hard time...
No two stories are alike:) Grace was in her senior year, and Mr.Dimitri would be as old as the beautiful Mr. Stoltz playing him - 40-41 at the time....So I don't know. I can only encourage you to write your story and hope that it still has a happy ending:) By the way, do you know such thing as
