Love the video! I think only feedback stands out to me that you didn't discuss much was ammo choice. I can see on screen you're using Tungsten but it's worth noting in a build and DPS comparison your ammo choices I think! Edit: Oh and also Cradle setup would probably help people out who aren't sure about the cradle mods.

after the recent update i changed out one of the weakspots for weapon damage mod and with the pioneer my dps went from just under 100k total to 120total for one mag

IDK, my akm pioneer deals 184k damage with one magazine of 64 bullets(without using crossbow) I guess if I get last valor my dps will explode

Sharpnell Carnage multiplies the probability of hitting a weak point by double, it does not ensure a 100% probability of hitting the weak point with Sharpnell

true but when ur groccing 4 shrapnel hits every time its pretty much a guaranteed hit on the weakspot everytime it procs. one of them is gunna hit where u need it to.

For weaker big packs of enemies yeah. It’s a good fun but nowhere near as good as it was last beta. They heavily nerfed it now. Its perk only ramps up when u get kills back to back now. So on single targets it’s not very good

Great video and guide, just one minor correction for the weapon mod. The description of the weapon mod is wrong. It is 100% increased chance not increased by 100% so it is actually (base chance x 100%) whatever the base chance may be we dont know. You can test that easily on a dummy and see that it is not always hitting a weakspot even with the mod. Still very very good mod though. Also there are pants with +1 Shrapnel which are also an option but they are Wish Machine only so you have to get lucky.

It’s basically 100% still the reason we see some shrapnel not hitting weak spots is because we are procking up to 4 shrapnel hits at a time because of beret and last valor, and if 1 hit is already on the weak spot then it can’t stack for similar reason that we aim for the body. So that why the other extra shrapnel hits are forced to hit other areas

I don't have lost valor but shouldn't u switch between 2 headshots then body shots. Otherwise you're missing out on 30% weakspot damage from the other mod that grants 15% stacks 3 times

funny u mention that because i did start alternating slighly to account for that mod. that being said i have an update coming out that doesnt use shrapnel carnage anymore and actually does a bit more dmg. so this wont be an issue soon. hang tight for the update.

Div evo was good in cbt2 but it gets completely killed by even a 5 star pioneer build.

@@Neovillain had better results with the AR instead of Dusty sadly. The 30 something range on the pistol with all mods for range is too low. Loved playing with it but sadly the AR far outperformed Dusty in everthing but the Dummy. And even there they were pretty on par. Edit: Forgot to mention i dont have the Last Valor i used the Blue Shrapnell AR instead. So with last Valor this might be even worse in comparison, which is sad because i loved the dedicated Weakspot playstyle of Dusty.

Bro I think u have to much weakspot damage instead of krit damage. With passive that shrapnel can krit, I think u need 1) krit damage , 2) krit rate 3) weakspot damage.

I think u might be right… been doing some testing with more crit dmg and crit rate as opposed to weak spot and im already doing slightly more. May have to make an updated video soon. Just have a few more mod combos I wanna test first

I did. Pioneer is the only other shrapnel rifle that’s worth using as well as dusty. I talked about both of them… the other rifles wouldn’t make sense for a shrapnel build. I plan on making a build around power surge though so I’ll be talking about a few different weapons in that video

Love some of the build options in the game (Burn, Shrapnel, Freeze etc), I like Unstable Bomber as well but I definitely hope Jaws gets toned down even though I'm using it currently. It'd really make a lot of the available builds shine, I feel like it's completely wrong for the pistol to be doing nearly 50k DPS basically 200k+ dmg a mag 😂 I have hopes I can mess around with a close-range Div-Evo Shrapnel build in PvP once I don't have to rock Jaws anymore

@@Darksyde1029 I spoke with skidbot about his alternate build and it’s basically the same as mine. Our dmg was almost the same. His was slightly more but the build required 3 or more pieces of gold armor which is rly only doable on PvP servers. Because they have a special wish machine option for gold armor that we don’t get on PvE servers. Without that gold armor he said he’d probably run the falcon set which everyone can get for free just like I already have in this build.

If you do 19k damage per shot with your crossbow, the 19k dps rifle will have done 100k by the time you reload.

@itzstone thats obviously false. He said 19k dps, damage per second, and i can hit over 30k with my crossbow per shot which takes less than a second to reload, and can get free instant reloads. In terms of dps the crossbow is greater. He can do more dps on a real target maybe, provided it has enough hp. However on enemies that matter, like mandesvoran hes going to be doing minimum dmg, while i can at least guarantee i do maximum dmg, which will exceed his dps on weakpoints.

@@LoveSeeker81392 i never once mentioned damage per second. the entire video i related all dmg to total damage over time from 1 mag. the total dmg output. the other downside to ur build is the fact that u get 1 shot before reloading again. if ur dodging around and miss your weakspot hit or worse your entire hit in general ur dps drops drastically.

Do you even know what "increase by 100%" means? It does NOT mean your Shrappnels hitting 100% of the Time the Weakspot.... Your Shrappnels have a base chance to hit a Weakspot. Lets say 10% Chance to hit a Weakspot Base. This mod Increases the chance by 100% that means the chance raises from 10% to 20%. So you just double your chance to hit a Weakspot and this is THOUSEND of Miles away from "100% garanteed weakspot hit". you should learn the math befor you talk bullshit

I’m aware I misspoke. That being said we’re triggering up to 4 shrapnels at once one is pretty much garuntee to hit weak spot. I do have an update to this build coming soon. That’s better so things will be changing slightly. You should also relax an not be a keyboard warrior. Ur not tough… it’s a game bro have fun lol, and be thankful I made a video at all… I could say the gun shoots sunshine and rainbows it doesn’t rly matter… as long as there’s proof of its potential damage output people will build it. That’s all that matters in the end.
