So I agree that running 40 of the lvl 3s is ideal for purification, but do not knock lvl 1s for newer servers or solo players. A lvl 1 gives 70 compared to lvl 2's 85. I don't think one can even get lvl 3's until the second week of a season. I converted all of my lvl 1s to lvl 2s and ended up 14 purifications short on my previous server. 3 70s is worth a lot more than a single 85 for a solo player. My group attempted to trade the items, so the drop information is very welcome.
you forgot one thing about cortexs, on pvp servers you have Echo stones which are a kind of cortex, grabbing one forces you into chaos pvp, bringing one to your base forces everyone in your territory into chaos pvp. echo stones also provide more starchrom then normal cortexs, and go towards the weekly cortex limit so for players who truly want to maximize their gain go for echo stones they also have levels and in phase 2 are locked to a max of level 3 with level 4 unlocked in phase 3 (i think the levels are also tied to the location they drop in)
not everybody gets the reward. you got to be in the same hive but even then, if you've reached your limit, you will still not get it even if you're in the same hive and participated in the fight. we tested yesterday although it feels like we have to confirm it because my memory from previous purification told me otherwise so either a bug of i might've overlooked stuff
Yes it's helpful. But it doesn't explain the most important thing. Because I lost $5700 starchroms. I had $6000 exactly. Because I was saving up for something I needed in the wish machine shop. I clicked the game section. It looked like it would have a fee to spend some starchrom for prizes. I checked it all over. Couldn't find any fee anywhere. And no directions. No fees mentioned. So I clicked play on a category because maybe it will show a fee. Still nothing. But it looked like the game already started without any warning. So I thought I missed some hits. So I kept hitting everything that kept popping to. Suddenly it said it was over and I got some prizes I didn't need. OK. But I saw I only had $300. $5700 was gone. It ate up nearly all my starchroms without any warning at all. Found out later there used to be two buttons to choose between $500 and $5000. And a confirmation came up for whichever you clicked. So they decided to turn it into a scam.
5:32 *I recommend you don't listen to this guy* he's gonna get you killed if you not prepared for the hoards of OP monsters coming your way and if you're like me with your machine at your base you can kiss it goodbye. Anyone who plays the game professionally will recommend levels 20-39 to only run the 15-25 missions NEVER run level 35+ unless you have friends and a gang of turrets on standby plus a friend or two if you solo then just use 10+ turrets but it's better to just run and *ONLY* run 15-25 even if you are level 50 like me just with the fact it's easy and you earn 4000 without getting your base destroyed.
5:44 Do you have to be part of a hive for everyone to get rewards? Unless I did it wrong when helped a friend with his defence, only he got the rewards.
im a little confused. If i understood correctly. So if im in a hive with 3 friends and they give me their cortex and we use my base to purify it. We all get the same rewards?
What if defending it solo? Do you have any tip for solo? should i still use tier 3 or better tier 2? because none of my friends play this type of game.
i still hate missing out on PvE content just because i wanna have more PvP encounters on a PVP server lol wish they had PvEvP servers tbh cause It sucks having to play 2 characters when there is so much to grind and do in the game for one character lol
Actually, if ur a hard player, this would be amazing. U could get bonus gathering, instant access to 6 weeks of commissions and season goals. It would be great!!! Not to even mention how many ppl would be helpful at the end sitting on their pile of loot/junk
maby you want to purify one on another. it takes more time, but you have more enemies around and more loot from elites. btw is there a big difference between the towers?
Fun and infuriating fact; I burnt all my starchrom on the Wish Machine due to a terrible UI. It doesn’t state anywhere that each whack is 500 starchrom. In beta, it was 1k to play a session of whack a mole. So I went from being stoked to build and play on the wish machine, to being pissed the eff off that I just pissed away 8k starchrom
@@kevin9218 The other option is to directly buy whatever you want from the wish machine shop. In my opinion, that's the better option, since you completely eliminate the RNG aspect and it takes almost no time to buy everything for a specific build. Currently we're in the second phase and I've already bought a weapon for 8k, a helmet for 8k, 3x set items for 3k each and I'm only 60 starchrom short from buying the 4th piece. Even if you're into gambling, I simply cannot recommend going the gacha route.
@@Kongren94 true. If your goal is a specific build. But if your goal is to get everything, and to level up those blueprints, it's a lot more efficient to just whack the moles.
You keep blueprints, mods, accessories, main story progression, side story progression AND you can take a bunch of items with you to the next season. It's not all that bad. Just enables you to try different builds every 6 weeks cause all the starchrom will pour in again.
