And Emma had this big connection with him because, after Lily, August was the friend who helped her to believe in herself again. Even in season 5, the Dragon (the Asian guy in NY) told Emma to not forget what he taught her. I mean this is just my point of view or theory(?). I am all with EmmaxAugust love line and I'm sad that it never happened but at the same time their relationship stood precious and pure because Emma loves him in a way she doesn't love Hook or Neal or her family. I don't think Jen was even needed for this continuation. Yeah, she was the savior, but she already did her job, so it makes sense the story with her would no longer be needed. If the writers have a brain in their head they will bring in some Kingdom Hearts characters. I mean the way Henry said "I'm the only me" practically screams Kingdom Hearts. Roxas, Sora and I think Ventus (at one point or another) have all said this line. Throughout the many Kingdom Hearts games. Also at least bring Braig/Xigbar. James Patrick Stewart already does the voice work for Braig and he is already on General Hospital (which is also on ABC). I would venture to say that if the writers brought Kingdom Hearts characters into the show the ratings would soar.

Latisha Lanclos Not Hook. He and Emma are supposed to live Happily etc. etc. together, and no Emma should also mean no Hook. If the filmakers think they can get away with it and say they divorse, then that's a load of baloney.

Killian lost his memory, he has no memory of Emma but he knows he lost something. That's how they'll write Hook without Emma- He doesn't remember her. When he does remember , though, that's when the writers will really have to do something big to explain it.

Its a different version of Cinderella, like he explained in the beginning. Different cultures have their own variations on fairytales and this season will dwell on that since so much of the cast is gone.

Kida ISN'T really that popular with Disney i think. Although the best way to completely rework her for the show would be as a mermaid friend to Ariel. It would connect the Little Mermaid to a(different)Atlantis that hasn't been seen or cared about by Disney in really long while and if not then just have them used something like the marvel Sub-Mariner Atlantis(that would be cool to see for this show, Ariel meeting Namor!!!!!)

Honestly thought it would be cooler if he fell in love with a "villain" given his history. Kinda of a nice nod to his mothers. Regina's a villain, Emma's true love was a villain. He of all people would be able to see the good in someone.

I agree. I'm a character person, you know but not a shipper, so all these things about ships and stuff... I got tired of it. I mean, look at the fans. They're at war with each other and the writers, just because they don't see their favorite ships enough or their ships are "destroyed". That can't be the original plan of the show! I hope season 7 isn't so much about it and we get to see more plot (which, I admit, I didn't like in season 6) and more character (if you know what I mean). If they do, I've no doubt, it can actually be good. I'm excited to see Hook, Regina & Rumple without their love interests, even though I may be only one of 10 ^^ #notashamed

How did everything become Captain Swan? Yea they got some focus which isn't unusual since Emma is the main characters but the plot hardly revolved around them. If anything it revolved around Regina! No seriously can someone actually explain this to me?
