I think that they actually did a great job with the casting of Georgiana Haig as Elsa and Elizabeth Lail as Anna. I'm not a regular Once Upon a Time viewer, but watching these clips of Anna and Elsa having a cute sisterly bond was what I wished for more of in Frozen after everything went down in the movie. There was the bit where they say they love each other, and when they bonded over chocolate. However, I hardly got to see the two sisters just talk and hang out together in Frozen, like they do in Once Upon A Time.
This movie surely taught everyone a lesson. Love isn't always from a prince, its from your sister, who you love and trust, The one that loves you to :)
This is my favorite season out of all of the seasons.. But idk why everyone is hating because Frozen is on OUAT.. It's just a TV show don't make a huge big deal.. Geez. And it's their life Don't watch this season if you're gonna hate! (And yes I've been here since the very beginning)
How come THEY look like the REAL thing and all we got for Tangled was a black princess and NO Eugene or Gothel. So Anna in this version marries Kristoff.
Same - I didn't get any vibes from the OUAT scene here that this was anything but cosplayers enacting a scene. Maybe I just couldn't get engrossed in it, but it just didn't really feel that genuine for some reason.
Y'know what's better than Frozen and Tangled and other series people want to include in Once Upon a Time...? HTTYD! FUCK YEAH! Okay, I'm just a troll xD but you gotta admit, HTTYD and HTTYD 2 were AWESOME
Great casting and costumes. Never cared for the movie Frozen or the song "Let It Go". But if it makes you happy, great! I love ONCE. And look forward to watching it with hubby. Lots of hidden messages that we can all apply to our lives.
***** I wouldn't have minded Elsa being in OUAT so much if they, you know, stuck to the original "Snow Queen" instead of making "Frozen 2.0". The showrunners did that for just about every other fairytale--then added their own twist or background on the story. That's what makes the OUAT versions unique. I think it would've been more interesting if Elsa/the Snow Queen tried to pass herself off as the good guy, but the flashbacks show her being nasty to Gerda after capturing whatshisname, Gerda's friend. Then Regina could still seem evil for trying to get rid of Elsa and she turns out to be right about her all along.
Jonathan Harvey I wasn't as keen on Once Upon a Time before they announced Frozen, but they made the movie (which I love) a part of the show's universe. Thus showing how much of a marketing ploy was since it was during the massive hype for the movie's popularity.
Never really watched this show, but were the Frozen characters really necessary? The film really is blown out of proportion. At least they looked, sounded and acted perfectly like the characters. If someone gets a Keyblade in the next season, I'm done.
But the snow queen was a fairytale before it got disneyfied. Just like the little mermaid and tangled were stories a ways back. So it makes sense to have it in OUAT. Just not so much the Disney version.
A misunderstood queen whose powers put an entire kingdom under a curse that could only be broken by true love.... and people are really questioning how Frozen fit into the show lol
Tbh, I'm disappointed they added Frozen for several reasons. This show was originally supposed to start out as, you know, those lovely, little fairytales that we all know, but NOOOOOOO, we had to add this movie because it was "oh so great." Now don't get me wrong! I loved Frozen, but it got way to overrated, and, I mean seriously guys?
Am I the only one on earth who really dislikes Frozen? It was so cheesy and stupid. The ending where the guy she "loved" turn on her and her sister being the female hero made it seem like they were trying to hard to make their movie different. Tangled was better.
Don't call me emo lol, I do like frozen, but I do agree that its completely overrated (all because of let it go) and that everyone is forgetting how good Mulan was, beauty and the beast, and all those others. Now. For tangled. My favorite Disney movie, and really, Frozen is the EXACT same as Tangled, and everyone knows it. Being locked up for her whole life. Running away. Healing tears. I mean. WTF?! Come on Disney. Seriously.
Shadowheart Nightsky I like Tangled because it came BEFORE Frozen, which means it was original. I do agree they are very similar which makes me not like Frozen more.
Don't get me wrong. I loved the Frozen arc. ❄️ It's just their are 2 things about it I don't like about it. One is that im disappointed that they didn't bring Olaf in the series and the other is I don't like what they made Kay and Gerda their parents. ( if you're going to reply and be m*** about it keep that to yourself)
+Tony bc I said if your going to be m***n about it, keep it to yourself. But to answer your question, because they wanted to stay close to the original snow queen as well as the frozen story. It would have made more sense if they brought the original Kai and Gerda from the story. That would've made more sense.
It's Cannon for the main OUAT Universe but not the main Frozen Universe. For the main Frozen universe the movie and the upcoming short and book series is Cannon.
i rlly love frozen and i look forward to watching this ppl who hate frozen i respect there opinion because its overrated but either way i like it and i haven't watched once upon a time in a LONGGGGGGGG time im still on the never land part XDDD
Its a shame they made ouat just a high budget fanfic series instead of making it supplement their movies. Like each season would be focused on one disney universe..one for Frozen, one for snow white, one for alice in wonderland and so on.
