Once upon a time, we decided to take a car of questionable origins to a car gathering of epic proportions. CAR BROS presents, with the support of our generous fans, Once Upon a Time in Monterey.
This Ferrari is a true embodiment of juxtaposition, beauty and horror, humor and tragedy, love and hate. A one of a kind automobile that demands attention and contemplation. This will definitely be the only time an error like this will ever slip through multi-levels of administration. Couldn't be happier with the error!
My inner conspiracy theorist wants to believe there was someone on the inside who recognized the car and/or knew what it would mean to include it in the show and quietly shuffled it through the stages of approval. The reality is more likely the producers of the show were on an artificial, fixed timeline and these shows are hard to organize. So a lot was rushed and certain things, much to our enjoyment, just slipped through the cracks.
@@curtyv Read the description they put in the book. They knew they had to put the image because it was part of the show (even if they didn't like it), and I think the witty description does it perfect justice.

@@Stoleritto Ah yes! Delightfully put, such an eloquent and elegant means of articulating with sophistication and deep thoughtfulness what a total piss take of an item the thing is! gotta love it... Oh, and hate it :-)
I do have to say that Nathan did a nice job on that exhaust system - sounds legit good. It’s just a matter of time before “Nathan’s Exhaust” becomes a regular Fiero forums recommendation. 🤪
Reminds me of the handmade exhaust I did on my '89 Chevy Beretta GT that my old man gave me when I was 16. Didn't sound nearly as good, but damn was it loud for a stock v6. I remember the old man being absolutely destraught over me taking apart his old car and modifying it! Good times
"Thank you so much for bringing it out here, it's absolutely terrible." That's gotta be my favorite line. You guys are legends! Thank you so much for going through with this and producing such a nice documentary about it. This is why you guys are my favorite car comedy creators ever!
I saw the car at Quail. I thought it was cool that they had a sense of humor and were displaying an “internet famous” car. Even better to know they were ignorant and just got trolled. Congrats on Lemons, a true accomplishment.
@Cris LeRose I see he didn't do the OK hand symbol though.. Somehow that is white supprreemist now (even though it was just a bad troll by 4 chan guys that the media bought into hook line and sinker like the crazies they are) ...
I like to think that the guy you bought this from is watching all of this and either 1) kicking himself for not seeing it’s potential or 2) bawling his eyes out
A fantastic job gentlemen and I just want to say what a pleasure it was to provide all of your espionage services on this shoot and would be honored to do so again!
Highlights: Bugatti CEO looking at your car. Holy crap! Also: you driving FORWARD with the door open hanging out the car. So freaking funny. EDIT: 44:18
This is truly the greatest video i have ever seen on you tube, i am also humbled that the organizers of the quail were gracious in what they allowed, you guys have some balls!
Got to say, The 1986 Ferrari Prototipo Type F is one of a kind! We know now where the Enzo got it's heritage from 😂 Kudos to y'all for making it into the event!
I was praying this would come out on my birthday, couldn’t ask for a better present. I know Coyne has some stick up his ass about posting on Mondays, so I’m glad it worked out. I was expecting something around 20 minutes, so I’m glad our kickstarter funds got us something of such quality. Look out daytime television
This is the best exotic ever. I would have loved to drive around in that thing at Monterey. You must have made more people smile than any other car there. Well done!
Wow... This was so great from start to finish. What a rollercoaster ! You guys did such an amazing job telling this story of such an epic epic experience. 11/10
Everytime the Fierri appears on screen I can´t help but smile. Theres something so awfully wrong in the proportions of that fiberglass body thats incredibly funny.
The custom license plate cost more than the car itself and could be sold to an actual Ferrari enthusiast I love this video by the way I died laughing you guys are so cool
I had to go back and watch the intro again once i got a look at the car, hilarious lol Amazing video, that car probably brought more joy and smiles to peoples faces than any super car at that show.
I love everything about this.. I remember seeing this car in a couple youtube videos from Monterey. But hearing this story from you guys is a thousand times better.
Really nice work on the video, the documentary style fit the story very well. The Fierri was absolutely the show-stopper of Car Week. I'm proud to have supported the project. Hats off guys, great job!!
A fantastic vídeo, a tour of the sureal, from the builders warped vision to the diplomatic solution yet hilarious misplacement in showing the car, great editing, keep it up
Bravo! I had a car in display at both the Quail and Exotics on Broadway and while I was a bit put off at first, I now TOTALLY appreciate the effort and humor!!!
I live in Monterey and work for a company that builds the Pagani booth as well as many other booth for car week and this video is awesome! Well done, looks like you guys had fun!
So glad you guys made this video! I was wondering what the story was when I saw it in the pics and videos at quail. This is a great reminder to not take yourself too seriously. You guys rule!
Why though? It looks like everyone got the joke and had fun with it. Even the chairman of Bugatti was laughing. I think you might be the one who needs to loosen up a little bit.
@@Dr.TJ_Eckleburg if you re-read my comment, you will see that I think it's one of the funniest videos I have ever seen. I have been to many of these events, and most of the people there are a bunch of snobs. This was a beautiful thing to show them how silly it is to worship material possessions. Again, I thought it was hilarious.
@@guysmalley oh, you missed the point completely. Once these guys own million-dollar cars, they're all snobs. This is the ultimate F you to all of them. You're an idiot for not seeing that clearly.
This was amazing and you guys are so awesome for making this happen. Ever since I saw your first video I’ve been hooked because you guys are hilarious and the best trolls. If I had a real Enzo I would invite you all to drive it because you deserve it. Cheers
You guys are awesome! Subscribing to your channel now. At a minimum you made some friends and had some great conversations. I love it. That's what the Car Life is about. I don't have the wherewithall (AKA BALLS) to try to get into the show. Next year she needs a train horn!!!! Great job lads!!
