I think this part 15:04 when mario says "how will you spend all this money if we're stuck here?" could possibly mean 2 things. Mario is referring to the tower (because they are at the top and can't escape it) or that they are trapped in the simulation. So maybe mario knows they are trapped in a simulation. I could be wrong but still interesting to think about.

Giving one shot Wren his own world and made SMG4 and the others trapped in a simulation and never left 3.
