I've done all these steps and still my right airpod won't connect. It shows that its fully charged in the case but doesn't show the lightning bolt that its being charged. Once I connect with my phone, with the airpods in the case, the green battery icon for the right disappears. The green battery icon with the lightning bolt shows underneath the left airpod and case image, just not on the right airpod image. DRIVING ME CRAZY!
I have had the exact same problem with the right AirPod. It’s being fully charged, just won’t connect to the case or phone. Please tell me if you ever find a fix
I had the same problem with my left airpod 3 few months ago i tried every single thing in RU-vid its just wont work then all i did is put them in the case and completely ignore it for 2 days when i try open it again it works like nothing happened untill this day i got to say airpods are really weird product
Literally having this problem rn… it shows it’s fully charged, and won’t ever connect. I’ve cleaned them, disconnected, reconnected and nothing. Everything you mentioned and nothing.
I fixed mine by simply blowing air onto the charging contacts in my AirPods. There might have been something stuck there that was preventing your AirPod from charging
Hiii…. one of the side of my AirPods is not connecting to the phone but it contains the charge in it 100% . Do you know how to fix this issue please…??
I just had the same issue - nothing worked - until I went to the OUTPUT settings on my MacBook (or whatever device is not playing the one airpod correctly) and realized the setting had defaulted to "left speaker" and it was only playing through one side in the settings. Hope that helps!

They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
Nope none of that worked. My left airpod still isn’t working the right works fine. The left airpod doesn’t even show up on my bluetooth but when I reset it shows up on screen but that’s it. Says it’s fully charged yet only the right works. Both worked fine yesterday and then when I got to work two hrs later the left just stopped and hasn’t worked since.
Holy crap! I was totally stressed about having to tell my husband that I somehow broke one of my AirPods for the second time. Lol. Especially stressful, because I didn’t do anything that I recall that would’ve damaged them. This literally just fixed the problem. Thank you so much!
If you came hear and just got new AirPods you put one in and the other just won’t work. Settings -> scroll till find accessibility -> scroll till audio accessibility -> change balance to zero if already not on zero. Try this method if the one in the video did not help. I hope this helps if you need it
If anyone in the future sees this i tried every step and it didn’t work, but next morning when i woke up it was working perfectly. Just leave them in the case or charge them
@@oofchicken2894 I fixed it with the apple warranty. It was because one of the airpods died. Like not with charge but the battery died or something so the airpod was broken. Got it replaced

I was having problems with my left AirPod, reset them 3 times and nothing worked. I got these new and the case was pristine clean. I decided as a last ditch effort to blow into the charging case ports that charge the AirPods and now they work. Good ole blow in the hole trick
someone please help me, my left airpod does not work no more. when i charge my left airpod the case flashes orange but when I only put in my right airpod it shows charged. What should I do to fix the left one?
Here’s for some people who’s both airpods are working just taht one isn’t playing the music loud enough. So i had this problem rn and it’s because there’s too much earwax in it and so it blocks it, use a tissue or safety sisscors to try and scrape it out (be careful though) once ur done put it on and they’ll be the same
Same issue on my left one. I went through all the steps including cleaning the charging tabs in the charger itself. I knew it had to be a reset issue somehow so with the ear piece still in the case I gently pulled the top so that the bottom (contacts) made contact with the charger contacts. I watched my phone to see if it showed up and it did. I put it in my ear and bam! Don't ask me why but it worked for mine when none of the other steps did. Hope this helps some of you as well
@@brunobarbosa4457 Nope, I was gifted a pair of AirPods Pro gen 1 and they have touch wood worked perfectly fine. I couldn’t fix the my original pair no matter what I did.
(Potential fix?) Had this happen today and had to fly home with only one AirPod. So annoying. I did this 100 times to no avail. Got it to work by putting my phone on airplane mode and turning off Bluetooth. Once it reconnected the right airpod started charging. (I don’t follow that airplane mode on airplane nonsense, so I didn’t do it on the plane although I wish I did lol)
Yeah I tried this and didn’t work. It turned out there was some ear wax on the charging pins in the case lol. Cleaned it with the Qtip both the contacts and my ears lol. Now charges fine.
My biggest issues with AirPods they always connects to the wrong device. Want to make a call picks up the AirPods but they almost always connects to my MacBook. Same happens when a calls comes in.. it keep connecting to the MacBook. It is a pain. How to force them to always connect to the latest device? Or how to solve this isssue?
*fixed mine by* 1. cleaning the case and the metal 2. throwing my pods many times but not too hard. also the case i dropped it many times. 3. i placed my pods back by pressing it down in the case for minutes. (hard pressed) 4. i charged it with original charger for 2 hours. and then it worked! hope that helps
I will have to try that the inside of my case has shaved metal from my work so hopefully cleaning it will make it work because my left AirPod isnt syncing with my phone but shows that it is charging with the case

Nothing worked and someone mentioned to blow on the connection part of the AirPods itself and, son of a gun, that fixed it. I don't have to go to Best Buy and blow another 190 bucks on a new pair, pun intended
I know it may not be much but cleaning the contact point/metal thingy inside the AirPods/airpods pro charging case with a Q tip may be a solution. It just came to me to give it a try. After cleaning my left side AirPods Pro which were not working got detected and is currently working. Hope this helps someone 😊
This didn’t work for me. As a last ditch effort I took one of my family members working AirPods, put it in my case, reset it til the left AirPod worked. Then I swapped my AirPod back into my case and reset it and my AirPod connected.
I think I have to buy new AirPods my left one still doesn’t work it shows them both fully charged but when I put them in only my right works and the button doesn’t even presss down on my left one
If one airpod isn’t as loud as the other airpod, just suck the tip of the airpod. There is probably something stuck in the mesh, it sounds gay but it really worked for me
this video didn't solve my problem, but i did fix it: my left airpod wasn't working at all, charging case wouldn't even detect it. even though the airpods hadn't gotten wet (that i know of), i left the left airpod in a bag of rice overnight and by morning it was working again. i'm not sure if just leaving it out of the case overnight did the trick, or if the rice helped (maybe i got water on the airpod without realizing it)
i got an android and only right side will connect but sometimes the left 1 i will connect but whenever i switch from one device to another instead of the connect sound it does the dead battery sound.
My left AirPod doesn’t connect at all and when both pods are in the case and the cas is opened, the amber light flashed red and I can’t hard reset or connect to the phone it just keeps flashing and just don’t connect
For my pros the right one got ran over and chewed up by dogs and it ain’t work until I threw it at a wall a few time then it worked so as a last resort…..
